I have a 2011 xlt transit connect cargo van with a 650 pound lift for my wife and her power wheelchair. The problem is that see can't see out any windows because her line of sight is 3 inches too high from the top of the side windows. I saw another transit connect with a cutout floor that raises and lowers it's platform 4-6 inches, but I forgot the name of the company that did this conversion, anyone who can help?

caramcharger,

I sympathize with your problem. What I suggest is that you contact your dealer and find out who they send their mobility upfits too. Another option is to look in the yellow pages or on the internet for mobility up fitters.

Although you have posted your question on the TC General Discussion Thread, it is unfortunately a incorrect Thread put on the full size Transit, web page. Members here have the full size Transit, not the smaller TC. For some reason the forum owners evidently weren't aware that the two vehicles were nothing alike except in Ford's naming them the same. You might also check the net for a forum dedicated to TC's for more help.

Good luck in search of your modifications. Post where you are located and possibly there is a member in your area that knows of and can point you in the direction of a mobility up fitter near you. :)
