some quick observations.:). This tire has built in wear indications in the thread, which is in MM. I measured the tread depth which is 10 MM

Tuesday I picked of a 4 x 4 skid which weighted 1,800 LBS, first think I noticed is these tires have stiffer sidewalls than the Hankooks:eek:. Their was not much difference in the flex between front and back tires. The hankooks would have looked like it has 30 #'s of air in them. So anyone who is hauling a heavy payload or pulling a heavy trailer, this tire is for you:):):)

My 10,000 mile review:)

!st off I ran Identical pressure between the Hankooks and the nokians. Also had then rotated @ 5,000 miles

First the bad news:(, the tread pattern is more aggressive than the Hankooks, which means they are louder. Also you will lose about 1/2 MPG

Now the good news, they deffinetly have better traction , I noticed this during the on/off ramps you can hear them growl, plus in the rain they work better.

Now tread wear, I started with 10 MM, down to 7MM, which for some reason tire last longer during the last 50% of their life. So guessing I should see 40,000 miles of mixed driving. Also the Hankooks cost more

I pulled off my winter tires two weeks ago, so of course we got hit by about 3" of snow:mad:. The nokians handles the snow and Ice better than the Handsucks:). Stay tuned for my 20,000 mile review in a few weeks:)

Yes it is more agressive than the Hankook, it also has the highest load rating tire for the Transit, 3200#, plus it should get 25% more tread life. Finally it actually costs less than the Hankook:eek:
