I have a 12 passenger 2015 Transit 350XLT
would like to move the 3rd row 4 seater.
do those seats fit the back row next to the back door (where a 16 seat would be) and are the seat brackets under the floor mat?
want to give guest more room if I can

No, it seems each configuration only comes with the seat brackets for what it was delivered with. Besides, the non-extended length 15-passenger has a different configuration for the rear 4-place seat (singles on each end, double in center)

bashford,

As asdrew stated, it is a different configuration and there are no mounting brackets in the floor.

Having said that, my mobility up-fitter did move the last row back to where the last row in a 15 seat configuration would be. I have a sofa / bed going in there. Currently the last row of my 12 seater is mounted there. Took some engineering expertise and welding. Total cost around $1,600.00. So it can be done, if you really want it. :)

Look up mobility up-fitters in your area and ask them if they can do it.

What area of the country are you in?
