Last week I called Ford and was told ETA was Dec 28 for delivery of the 2015 Transit I Ordered on May 10th. Curious on the actual Build date I called Ford today and should I be surprised they tell me The Build date Was moved to January 12th. And even more Surprised Ford could not give me a reason why. Actually I am numb to this whole process, I tend to get Upset over little things yet this has me actually laughing. This could be the last vehicle I purchase from Ford. And I may ask for 9 months of interest on my 1000 dollar deposit. I can take more delays but at least tell my WHY!!!!! Last 8 of Vin is FKA37049 Oh yea.... The Lame speculation she gave me was... I did after all order a 2105 back in May.... REALLY???

Talk about absurd! Think I'd go to the dealer and raise **** with them and see if they can find you an answer for the problem. Ordered in May and they have no idea!!! I'm interested in purchasing one but the more I read on this forum the less likely I'll buy a 2015. Maybe Ford will get their act together for the 2016 models, providing I will/can wait that long. This is getting to the point of being very disgusting for future Transit owners. Wish you the best of luck and keep us updated.

I sent an e-mail to my salesman, He replied with this quote... "Ford tells me it is on Schedule and that has been the build date." Really, What happened to the 1st week in December??? A build week told to me since July!!!! You should see my living room, I have several boxes of stuff for this Van, I ordered most of it last week so it would be here when the Van arrived Maybe I should wrap them....LOL

I agree, this is turning me away from ordering one too. My old boss ordered one in August and he just got his vin a couple weeks ago. May to January is crazy. My sales woman told me 14-16 weeks when I order. Now I don't know if I should believe her or not.

If it make you guys feel any better, LOL, the ProMaster has a LONG delay on ordered units too. 4 to 6 months

This would be interesting... Conceive a Baby and order a Ford Transit on the same day, See which comes first.... LOL, My bet would be on the Baby!!!!

There is a "Track a Vehicle -- Full History" the dealer can printout which lists every change to the schedule from the time the order was submitted. I got a copy of mine when I picked up my van. It shows everything from initial order (labeled "Unscheduled Clean") to delivery to Norfork Southern train, including several "In Order Processing--Scheduled to Week" or "Day" entries noting slips in schedule. I would suggest you demand this printout. Likely only the sales manager can produce it.

Just aid in the fuming. And it might show who has not been truthful. It also is printed schedule dates so you do not have to simply trust your salesman's word (which hopefully is good, but not everyone can really trust that).

I did conceive a baby around the time we ordered our Wagon. I should be delivering any day now and yet we won't get the van until Mid January (so they say).

Who did you call at ford? I want to call them myself as well. My van should have already been built and yet I STILL have no window sticker! I think they have my VIN number wrong. Do you have your Window Sticker yet? My VIN is just before yours at 37028

It's becoming apparent that the VIN numbers don't go in exact sequence. Mine was built yesterday and my VIN is 50032. Other factors are in play, but I couldn't tell you what they are. Good luck, hope yours comes down the line soon!
