Hello all from the UK !! I have a 2007 ford transit chassis cab with a beaver tail type car recovery body fitted. It is the 350 extra long. Sadly in this country we only have small engines so I have the 2.4 Tdci 140 hp. 4 cylinder diesel. My truck has lots of extras including air con electric windows cruise control etc. I've also had full air suspension fitted on the rear. The leaf springs have been thrown away and air bags with cantilever arms fitted. It's self levelling and allows me to drop the bed down to load cars ... anyway the reason why I'm here. I'm trying to find a locking differential for my truck and so far in the uk I've been stone walled by everyone. Even county who make the AWD transit parts for ford.

So my question is : : do any of you guys know of a place in the U.s.a that can supply me with a locking diff. It can be air powered as I have an engine driven air compressor on board as well. I have the 4.27 diff ratio and I'm told it's made by Dana. But no one including Dana seem able to identify it !!

Thanks

Fred

Diff in mk8 is totally different than mk7. You wont find parts for mk7 diff in the usa.

Are you planning on installing this yourself or do you have a shop that's familiar with how to do this?

You might try reaching out to EastCoastGearSupply and see if they can research what type of locker or diff you might need.
