We have mailed out 125 of the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service booklets up through today and that has resulted in 39 orders placed with Matt Ford so far. A few used the information from the booklet and ended up with ordering locally by making use of the information with filling out the Transit Order sheet and then getting a preview order from the Ford system via Matt Ford. Then you can get a price quote and see how that looks based on how much you want to spend on the Transit.

With the B-O-B Transit Service, you get the current updated 2020 Ford Transit Order Guide, a Transit Order sheet with instructions on how to use the order guide to fill out the information needed for building your Transit order, and MSRP pricing sheets are included in the booklet for Cargo van, CrewVan, and Passenger van so you can get the option prices to help with your vehicle budget.

This is the best and most complete information you can get on the 2020 Ford Transit. The Ford online 'Build It Own' format does not give you ALL of the information about the options available on the Transit and only gives you pricing on the options you choose.

With most of the 2020 Transit MSRP final prices in the $50,000+ range, best to get as much information as you can to make the BEST DECISION POSSIBLE!!

More prospective 2020 Transit buyers are going with getting the best information about this NEW vehicle with the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service. With this service, you get the updated 1/02/2020 Ford Transit Order Guide, a Transit Order sheet to use with the order guide to build out your Transit order, and pricing sheets for the Cargo, CrewVan, and Passenger van so you can see what your projected MSRP total would be based on your option choices.

You can read about this service on the Matt Ford website under 'Ford Transit Information' with the 'B-O-B Transit Service' link. The Ford online build site does not give you ALL of the available options for the 2020 Transit so why not go with the same information that the Ford dealers use to build out a Transit order!

I'm going to call Molly this morning and get signed up.

I'm assuming that any vans ordered soon will be arriving after the current rebates expire in March. Is it correct that if the new rebates are better when the van is delivered to Matt Ford, that we will be eligible for the newer rebate?

Also, if we were to order through your dealership, at what point in the process would we have a certain delivery date that would enable us to purchase airline tickets? They get more expensive closer to the fly date, so just wondering how much notice we would have.

You are correct on the Ford cash rebates. The current $1000 amount is good through 3/31/2020 and a lot of my orders are already coming up with March dates and the latest one is WEEK of March 23rd.

In the past, once we got the final build DAY Ford gave us a projected ETA at Matt Ford. Since Jack Cooper Transport who delivers our local vehicle filed for bankruptcy in August, 2019, our normal delivery time has changed significantly.

Before we got them in a 7 to 10 day period. NOW it is more like 14 to 20 days with a current 2020 Transit built on January 16th with a changed ETA date from February 5th to 11th. I am requesting that Matt Ford buyers get a advance planned trip at 14 days past the last ETA date to be sure the van is already at the dealership. With the weather situation unknown during the February through April dates it may be wise to get a flight that can be changed without additional penalty in case the weather is bad in Kansas City or one the way back to your home.

If there is a Ford rebate schedule change close to your delivery date, then you have the choice to wait a few extra days to take advantage of any additional rebates. We never know if Ford is adding more rebates so waiting the additional time may be only to keep the rebates at the same level as before.

Here is what you get as part of the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service.

A ring binder with the 2020 Ford Transit Order Guide with the current 1/02/2020 version, instructions on how to use it along with the Transit Order sheet to build out your Transit wishes. You also get the MSRP pricing sheets for the Cargo van, CrewVan, and the Passenger van that has ALL of the listed pricing for the base price for each body style as well as every option. It is mailed to you in a special 11" X 12" box so it keeps everything together nicely when it gets to you, Then you have contact via email or phone if you need any help getting your Transit Order sheet ready to submit for a Transit preview order generated from the Ford order system. The preview order will list all of the ordered items just like the eventual window sticker that will come with your delivered Transit.

At this point, you are ready to place your Transit order.

You can get ALL of the details on this service by going to the Matt Ford website, www.mattford.com and looking at the area 'Ford Transit Information' and click on the link 'B-O-B Transit Service'

Mailed out 3 more boxes yesterday as more Transit prospective buyers want to know the most information possible about the 2020 Transit and what options are available to them. Going with 43 pages of information is a lot to go through but then you have the knowledge to make the best decisions for a vehicle that may be with you for a long time. It may take you to a lot of special places and give you enjoyment with your family, friends, and animal companions along the way.

Ford just made another update on the 2020 Ford Transit Order Guide (2/1/2020) with the parts that changed and some pages with the prior dates if they did not change. Mostly has to do with the changes for the Vinyl Flooring on the cargo and passenger van with the combination of the HD Tray Style Mats going away with this floor option. You can still get them via the Ford dealer parts department and they fit great with the molded contour of the mats.

With the NEW 2020 Ford Transit Order Guide being a part of the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service, you will have the most updated version (2/1/2020) of the order guide available along with a Ford Transit Order sheet that helps you put together your desired Transit order. As you fill out the sheet, you will have the order codes, description of that specific option and the MSRP pricing that you get with the enclosed pricing sheets for the Cargo Van, CrewVan, and Passenger Van so you can build out your Transit order knowing all of the information on it.

Then you just send that information to the special email address that is part of this service where you get special attention to getting a preview order that is generated from the Ford order system with MSRP pricing. Once your preview order is EXACTLY like you want to place the order, you get a price quote that shows the Matt Ford discount, current Ford cash rebate, the low Matt Ford documents/administrative fees, and other available rebates that are part of the Transit purchase.

You can read more about this service by going to the Matt Ford website, www.mattford.com and look under 'Ford Transit Information' and click on the link 'B-O-B Transit Service'.

This can be the start of building your long term traveling vehicle that can bring you a lot of future memories!

@[email protected] Is it possible for Canadians to use Matt Ford to order a Transit, come pick it up and drive it back to Canada? Thanks!
You may have a problem with customs as well as getting it registered in your area. Ford of Canada also has a different list of options from the USA version that is not in the USA version of 2020 Ford Transit Order Guide that is part of the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service. I am sure one of our Canadian forum members can comment better on this than I can.

We can certainly bring vehicles from the US to Canada. We just have to pay provincial taxes and maybe duty. We also have to get it inspected (Canadian Tire does this) to make sure it meets all the requirements such as daytime running lights. So I know it's possible on our end, I just wasn't sure if Matt Ford would take an order from Canadians?

Yes you can do that but you might have trouble with the Ford Canada warranty on a new van from USA. I know that is a problem for Sprinters.

Daytime Running Lamps is a FLEET only option for the USA built Transit so that may be one of the problems getting one in the USA and taking it to Canada.

We had a big run on the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service in the last week so it looks like more 2020 Transit buyers are getting more information so they can place their order for that long term traveling vehicle. If you are looking for a AWD model and more of the NEW electronic options that is available for 2020, then you really need to think about getting the MOST information you can for making a possible $50,000 vehicle purchase.

Two more booklets sent out yesterday so things are still moving forward with Transit buyers wanting the most information they can get for ordering a 2020 Transit. A few people are looking to make a special trip to Matt Ford next week to see the first production CrewVan so they can make a decision about ordering one and what options they may want on it. It was ordered with nearly every option available other than AWD based on the belief that option might not be available at the first production builds. It has been delayed for other reasons but is now built and awaiting delivery to Matt Ford.

Stocked up on a lot of the binders, paper, and ink supplies to print off a lot of the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service booklets. So far everyone coming to take delivery of their Transit at Matt Ford have really commented about how it helped them make the best decisions for ordering a 2020 Transit. Plus... seeing that $40 they spent on the booklet show up coming back to them in their final numbers for making payment on their Transit makes it more satisfying they went this route by ordering the booklet and coming to Matt Ford to get their Transit.

Just having the Matt Ford 2020 B-O-B Transit Service booklet helps you make good decisions when ordering the 2020 Transit. Don't rely on the Ford online Build-It-Yourself information to give you the best choices for ordering your 2020 Transit.
