Longer dip tube for the fuel auxiliary kit

The Ford auxiliary diesel kit (link) comes with a dip tube that sticks into the tank from the top, but I'm finding it to be too short, and i'd prefer a longer one reaching the bottom of the tank if possible. I'm not worried about sucking it dry.

I'm hoping that it's a common part that is used for other purposes as well, and maybe I can order it longer and just cut it to length? I can't find anything on google, apart from someone selling their own auxiliary kit including a longer dip stick (link). I'm tempted to place an order (even though I don't need the connector), but I just figured I'd check with y'all first!
