Hi,

I've been trying to locate the long plastic pins that go through the foam blocks just behind the front side airbags.

What are they called? Is there a good source that I can use to search part numbers via blown up diagram online?

Thank you, fellow transitors.

Here ya go. Not the "official" Ford part ... way less costly. ;)
Amazon.com : W710532-S300

Credit to the member who's name I cannot recall that previously posted.
Thank you! :) They will do fine for my use indeed.

(I'm building a recording booth/camper with a 148" Med roof cargo. I've been a lurker on the forum for a while now, but I will post and share what I learned once the build moves forward a bit, to contribute what I can to the forum. It's been a great source of ideas and tips.)

I would have gone with a MalletKat, but I'm a digital heretic.

Back to topic: I just need ONE of those pins, not dozens.

I think I take the stripped one into a parts store and compare it to the ones on the little spinning rack. I'd replace it with a rivnut and long bolt, but I think it needs to be able to tear free easier for an airbag. Also, I'm not certain I have upper airbags in my 2015 cargo van.

3M Dual-Lock worked nicely for me when reinstalling my Blobs
after carving them to fit the new ceiling and covering with fabric.
Strong enough to hold during normal use but no obstacle
to an explosive air bag.

I love this idea! I've been using Duo-Lock for mounting panels but this will let me do a better job of finishing these blobs. Love it!
