I currently drive a Nissan NV2500, and we have pretty much halted our adventure van build of it because the 4x4 conversion is so expensive and there is not yet, nor ever will be a locking differential available for it. Not even a limited slip option.
That is something I miss from my old E350. We avoid anything that even looks slightly sandy in the desert now, which is a hindrance.
I was waiting and waiting and waiting for the new Transit, but eventually we couldn't wait anymore and too much was still speculation. I imagine we will have a Transit within a few years though, depending on the 4x4 conversions and other off road abilities.
Chiefly among our concerns is the availability of a locking differential. Is there any available yet, or are there any in development?

Hi, did you ever find info on locker? Do you know the size of a transit 250 high roof rear-end ie 9" etc.
Thanks
