I figured I'd post this because I know hard it is to find well-equipped passenger Transits. This one (and mine) don't have build dates yet, but the options are as follows: Transit T150 XLT, 3.5 EB engine, leather seats, sliding door, Sync 3, remote start, privacy glass, running board, alloy wheels (I think that's the gist of it). I hope this helps someone avoid having to go through the order process!

It's priced pretty well at $37,710, that's about $4500 off the sticker, but this dealership does have $1000 in "dealer fees", so be aware of that. The link is:

http://www.greenwayford.com/new/For...-Orlando-c67a11fa0a0e0ae84c12d715d154b18d.htm

Story of how/why I found this out: When I ordered my 10 passenger T150 (on Feb 1st), the dealership initially forgot to add the 10 passenger option code. I caught this a few days after I placed my order, so they said they corrected it. In fact, after looking at the dealership's website I noticed two Magnetic colored Transits "in transit" (they aren't). One is (apparently) my 10 passenger, and the other is an 8 passenger with the exact same options I ordered on mine (except the 10 passenger option of course). It looks as though they never actually cancelled the first order.

I can tell you GKA99172 is the 8 passenger wagon. Hopefully GKB01989 is your 10 passenger.
The window sticker is already online for GKA99172 with a projected build date of 3/16/2016.
I'm sure there is a date for the other one. Dealer can easily find that out!

Thanks! Me too. My sales person has been MIA ever since I placed my order, so I'm having to figure this out on my own. I will probably have to keep track of it myself to even find out when it arrives. I should have gone through the dealership's commercial sales department, but oh well.

Do you have a projected build date and VIN? You should have got both of these within a couple of weeks after you placed your order. At the time you placed your order, you should have received a copy of the submitted order with a order number and dealer number that is a part of your order until it gets a VIN.

This is one thing that new buyers need to check out before they order their Transit. Get the right format for your order by using the Ford Transit Order Guide and making your order form using the option codes and descriptions. Then when you go to the dealer, you have everything that should be on your order and it is easy to email this order to any FORD dealer for a quote.

I know a few people who have blindly went into the Ford dealer to order a Transit and ended up with a vehicle they did not want. Some even find out the salespeople do not know anything about ordering a Transit, and even when I inquired about a Ford Transit Wagon online, the Internet salesperson replied with " come by and look at this Transit Connect".

So I hope the other VIN ends up to be your correctly ordered Transit. By now your should have a scheduled build date on it. Based on the VIN on the dealer site, I would guess the last week of March. You can let us know how close that is to when it shows up with the window sticker online.

I did get a copy of the submitted order, but I haven't received any information on the VIN and Build date (despite calling and emailing the sales rep several times). I did make my order using the order guide, and I'm glad I did! The sales person initially put in the wrong platform code, as well as the missed 10-seat option code. On the plus side, he did send my a new order sheet with the added 10-seat option. But since then, nada! It looks like I will have to go to the dealership in person to get some more information. I'm fairly sure the other transit on their site is what I ordered. It has the exact same MSRP (although I'm not paying that) .

Thanks for you help! Any other suggestions are appreciated. For now my plan is to track this particular VIN, and perhaps make a visit to the dealership. Here's what I got from the dealership - is there something else I should have received?

If it is the same MSRP, you are not getting the 10 passenger seating as it is a $625 option, so the MSRP would be that much more than the 8 passenger. You might start checking the other VIN in about 10 days and see if it is the 10 passenger wagon.

The copy you have listed is a PREVIEW ORDER that is just printed out on their personal computer. The actual Ford printout is a lot different with the order number that is submitted and the dealer code on it. Went back to the dealer site and it looks like the MSRP for GKB01989($42,830) is exactly $625 more than GKA99172($42,205) so it should be correct.

Based on my projected build date, you might start trying to print the window sticker close to March 20th and see if it shows up. Then you will be sure of what was ordered for your Transit.

Finally got a window sticker for <1FMZK1YG7GKB01989>. It does state "special order" and has the 10 seat option. I guess that's mine! I'm glad to see some progress! Still no build date on the ETIS site, and still nothing from the sales rep (haven't had a chance to go in yet).

What build date does the window sticker have?

Argh, so close - mine's getting closer, your VIN is just 596 below mine! :D

Edit:
Never mind, I just looked it up myself. March 22!

Curious, I tried using the "Window Sticker by VIN" link where you have to add the VIN to the end of the URL - and it did NOT come up. Wonder what's up there... Used the researchmaniacs.com page and it worked.

I just checked the ETIS site and mine was also built yesterday (22nd):

Primary Features
Build Date: 22.03.2016
Vehicle Line: Transit V363
Engine: 3.5L V6 GTDI
Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic Trans (6R80)

Now I'll just have to wait until it arrives!
