Looking forward to getting a new work van! Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to get a VIN from the day the order was placed?

Some have received a VIN within 10 days and others up to 6 weeks. When there were problems with the Transits ordered with the dual sliding doors, it held the VINs up for a longer period, even canceling the 2015 orders and moving them to 2016 models.
Did you get a copy of the dealer order with the order number and dealer code? That is the only way you can track it via Ford if there are problems.
Here's a copy of my DORA. I assume the order # is 8714 and Dealer Code is 56L200? Just looked up your order and it is still in PENDING mode. Check with your dealer on 5/4 and see if it has been issued a VIN.
