360 days after selling my 2019 Transit to my local Ford dealer and placing an order for a new 22’ (balanced out) my new 23’ is finally here! He’s a MR Avalanche Gray XL with black HID’s. I’ll post the window sticker for anyone interested.

I don’t remember there being an option for a black grill but I do love it. I’m assuming it’s something included with Black HID option or possibly the XL trim.

He ordered the XL passenger van so it gets the Black grlle. The XLT gets the Exterior Upgrade package that adds the Chrome Outlined grille.

I think it’s great! It’s much easier to press the start button rather than fumbling around trying to insert the key into the ignition.

I’m so glad I didn’t lose my patience and settle for something else. About 9 months into the waiting process I seriously contemplated buying 4x4 converted Chevy Express and calling it a day. Not knocking Express’s at all, they’re great, but the features, tech and even the fit and finish of this Transit is great! It’s comfortable, quick, smooth and looks fantastic, especially with the black HID’s.

I don't see the shark fin on the roof in the pictures. Do you have a shark fin antenna on the roof of your van?

Yes, it’s up there. I didn’t notice it at first either. It’s on the drivers side.

Yes, it’s up there. I didn’t notice it at first either. It’s on the drivers side.

I looked at your window sticker and saw you added a 4g lte modem delete option. I assumed (wrong) that maybe that deleted the shark fin. What does that modem delete option do exactly? what features or capability's did you lose deleting the modem.
I am curious as I did not notice that option when I placed my order. Pretty sure I wish I would have noticed it now. Oh well

I had searched the forum be fore asking about the 4g lte modem 97Z option. I did find this just now on the internet.

I have the shark fin. What is it for ? Cellular or XM ? Neither which I have in the van. 4g is dead. I do not like it. It will interfer with a roof rack.

Ford connect if I have it on a base cargo van, I do not know how to use it.
