Husky/Weathertech: Get On With It!

14483 Views 33 Replies 19 Participants Last post by  brittles
I just checked both web sites and I see nothing for the Transit. Husky told me back in October they were working on it. So much for that.

Anyone have any info from them on a time frame? I emailed again today, so I'll let you know what I hear.

Floor Mats...........

Well it sure took them long enough! Both Weathertech & Husky finally stepped up to the plate and are now offering Rubber/Vinyl Floor Mats for the Ford Transit. I've always been a Weathertech guy but under advice from a local Truck Accessories shop I went with the Husky 1 pc. mat.

I have to say I'm impressed with it so far. It fits like a glove and does a great job of keeping the dirt, leaves and other unwanted things contained. It comes up higher then the Weathertech mats so it also does a great job of controlling water & snow.

I have mine installed on the Vinyl factory floor and it is solid as a rock with no slipping or sliding. I'm thoroughly impressed with it and I'd definitely consider them in any future vehicles.

On another note I also installed Weathertech Splash Guards and they as usual look great and were a breeze to install.

Husky ................

Been a Weathertech guy for years but since they dragged there feet getting the Transit mats out I went with the Husky mats. Great fit and they do an excellent job containing the dirt & snow.

They're a different material then the Weathertech's and remain pliable even when the temp's are in the below zero range. I'm totally satisfied. I'll probably pick up a set for the new Sprinter to.
