I just checked both web sites and I see nothing for the Transit. Husky told me back in October they were working on it. So much for that.

Anyone have any info from them on a time frame? I emailed again today, so I'll let you know what I hear.

Weather tech told me they have nothing even in development. Here's the email reply I received:

Good Morning Chris,
Thank you for contacting MacNeil Automotive Products ltd. Unfortunately we do not have anything for the Ford Transit 250 at this time. I also checked our data base and I did not see anything being manufactured either. Please feel free to call or email me directly to check availability or if you may need assistance placing an order.

Well, that's a bummer. I'll check with Husky again.

Just checked Weathertech.com and they specify floor liners for 2015 Transit (not Connect) and no drill mudflaps. There are no pics of the floor liners, but they say they don't fit vans with the vinyl floor covering, which most cargo vans have. Gonna do some recon at my local distributor this week.

The reason they say they don't fit vans with vinyl floors is that they will slide around. Not a deal breaker IMO. Just a couple velcro tabs should hold them in place... the price, on the other hand, might be a deal breaker 187$ IIRC.

Floor Mats...........

Well it sure took them long enough! Both Weathertech & Husky finally stepped up to the plate and are now offering Rubber/Vinyl Floor Mats for the Ford Transit. I've always been a Weathertech guy but under advice from a local Truck Accessories shop I went with the Husky 1 pc. mat.

I have to say I'm impressed with it so far. It fits like a glove and does a great job of keeping the dirt, leaves and other unwanted things contained. It comes up higher then the Weathertech mats so it also does a great job of controlling water & snow.

I have mine installed on the Vinyl factory floor and it is solid as a rock with no slipping or sliding. I'm thoroughly impressed with it and I'd definitely consider them in any future vehicles.

On another note I also installed Weathertech Splash Guards and they as usual look great and were a breeze to install.

There is a slight flaw with the weather tech splash guards. Look at your front ones. They basically hold a shot glass worth of crud and water where they cradle the fender. Gotta come up with a suitable drain hole location.

I ordered the weather tech floor liners about 3 weeks ago. Still backordered.

I looked for the husky but they said I was only for carpeted floors.
Their website shows two different front mats- one says it fits both carpeted and vinyl the other only fits carpeted.

"FRONT FLOOR LINERS
Fits models that have carpet or vinyl flooring.
ITEM# 53481"

"FRONT FLOOR LINERS
Not available online. Call 800.344.8759 for your nearest retailer.
Only fits models that have carpet.
ITEM# 18771"

Personally I don't care for any of the one piece mats..makes it hard to take it out and dump any spillage and accumulated dirt.
Separate mats would be my preference.

Look, imho, one should always remove debris/spills FIRST, before removing a floor mat. The mats are designed to contain spills, dirt, etc. if you think you're going to remove a 16oz. drink in a floor mat without it going all over the place, you're setting yourself up for a big disappointment. If it's a dry spill/debris, wipe or vacuum it out. If it's a liquid spill, get a towel or some paper towels and blot it. Then pull the mat(s) out and clean them.

Ya the one piece units can be tricky especially if you are trying to keep dirt or liquids from falling off during removal. If your heart was set on individual floor mats, take a knife and make them 2 pieces. I might have to cut a set because of the transfer case shifter on the 4x4 quigley sticks up in the middle part near the drivers seat. Doesn't look like anyone makes a set like husky or weathertech that are individual. I've had weathertechs on more than a few different vehicles and really like them because of the exact fit and they keep in all the dirt and mud contained.
