My Houston dealer says 2ND row seat cannot be removed (The 3Rd row seat has latches for easy removal.

We like to be able to remove and install the 2nd row seat easily. This is a deal breaker for us.

Just tried to build the order but could not find this is an option.

Please help, thanks.

It can be done.

A number of people here have removed the seats. They and our dealer say that it is no big problem. All the seats have latches, but only the last set have the easy pull handles. Our dealer in Corning, California said he would show us how to do it. Apparently Whole Foods corporate bought a van from them and easily fixed the seats so they could all be popped out at a moment's notice.

Where are the easy pull handles ordered from? The dealer?

How about the single seats on the sliding door side: they seem to be bolted to plastic housings of some kind. Are they removable?

I must be missing something here. I got a 2015 Transit yesterday. I have tried pulling up on the last row seat quick releases and the seat won't budge, suggestions ?
Did you check in the owner's manual? After pulling up on the quick release you have to tip the seat up/forward, and then pull it back to release it from the front connection point (from memory). The seat is VERY heavy so "won't budge" may mean you did not lift up hard enough? Two plus people needed I believe.

Stand by for a link to the manual.
