2019 Transit Connect 2.0L

I might have a seized brake caliper piston. I plan on inspecting it today.

Question, is the brake bleeding procedure on a 2019 Ford Transit Connect Unique in the sense that it requires some type of electronic / ECM reset? Or is it a typical type of procedure where I hook up a hose with a bottle and pump the air out of the system?

Only thing I can tell you is because the Connect doesn't have electronic braking, the van does not have a switch or button to disable the brakes. The van must be placed in maintenance mode by disconnecting the positive and negative battery cables before working on the braking system. if you do not disconnect the battery the system will still be active and you may encounter one or more calipers close in on your fingers while trying to installed new pads. Plus bleeding the system, one will have to start at the rear of the van and work forward. As of yet, I have not needed to bleed the brakes to our van.
I see. I changed the pads and rotors on my transit connect a couple of months ago and didnt disconnect the battery to place the system in maintenance mode. I didnt have any issues with the calipers closing on my fingers?

I plan on doing front passenger and rear driver sider brake calipers.

I should note that my 2019 transit connect does have a manual e-brake (cable attached to the caliper) and lever on the inside of the vehicle for pulling. I would think this type of system doesn't require any type of electronic reset when changing the calipers and bleeding the brake fluid.
