I'm wondering for two reasons. One being not sure what the protocol is on replacing batteries?

Secondly, if it was somewhat "easy" I would take it off so I could attach my wet okole seat cover better to the bottom half. Due the batteries being there, barely any room to tighten the straps.

I did search honestly. I wish the search functions on all of these forums worked as good as everyone claims they do.
I searched again just to confirm I was right. It doesn't seem reasonable to search through threads that may or may not contain the info.
Guess I should have googled first before asking on the forum.

This should be good enough to do what I'm looking for.

some forums are well organized and others are a complete mess where you cant find anything with a search box, i guess a step in the right direction would be asking your question in an already started thread covering something close to what you want to know. starting multiple new threads for each and every question you want to know just makes it harder to use the search box for someone else!

I just removed the passenger seat
It was easy

Remove the 4 torx head bolts shown in my pic
It's a big bit and you may have to go get that tool if you don't have one

On the passenger seat, I just had one connector to disconnect

Not sure about wires on your vehicle?

For clarity, this is correct for the driver's seat as well. Easy-peasy.

I also removed the drivers seat in my 250 cargo van yesterday to get a look inside the battery box

As was stated above, it's the same for the drivers seat
Just 4 of the big torx bit bolts and the seat comes off

The drivers side had the same big multi connector plug as the passenger side
Except it had 4 wires instead of two

The extra two wires went to the seat belt
