Thought that I would introduce myself. I am not an owner but drive a 2016 T350 equipped with a Braun Rear Wheelchair Lift for a non-profit transportation agency.

I have had previous experience with the Ford Transit. Back in 2007 I rented a camper conversion on the South Island of New Zealand. It was an real experience driving on the left side of the road plus shifting the six-speed manual transmission with my left arm. Looking forward to participating in the discussions.

That must have been a trip, shifting with left hand, I'm left handed and still think it would be a problem.

The hardest part of adapting to driving on the left is getting use to the fact the the rest of the vehicle is on your left. First day I drove im the UK my left wheels were off the road for the first while. I was in New Zealand in April, beautiful country.
I bought a 148" 12 passenger (delivery in the next few weeks) and have already sold the 2nd row 3 seater so it will be a 9 passenger when I am home. When I travel I will also take out the back row and have lots of room to live in. i bought a Whynter portable fridge and screens for the side and rear doors and will figure out the rest when I get the wagon. First road trip will be from Toronto through Quebec, Labrador, Newfoundland and home. Two of my adult children and one of my sisters will be on that trip so they can give me suggestions on how to improve things.

Eric,

Good luck on your trip. You have some neighbors up there that have done some extensive mod's of their Transits, hopefully they will chime in to assist you.

Thanks, I ordered my wagon April 16th and I still have two weeks to wait for delivery. I've been on the forum since I ordered so I've followed a lot of the builds. The fellow I sold my 3 bench seat to only lives 40 minutes away.
