The Ford Transit trainer was at my local dealer on Friday with the van. Long-wheel base, med roof, med length body. 3.5L Eco-Boost. Leather 10 way seats. Wall panels. Single slider. Windows in rear doors.

I love it! Order with confidence. It feels well-built and is comfortable. The drivers compartment feels much like all the modern Ford vehicles, which is a very good thing. I'm around 6'0" and fit great.

When you do get to see one, pop the hood and have someone close one of the doors. The motor mounts are so soft the motor jiggles. It's kinda funny. Pretty easy access to everything under the hood. Even a separate air intake for the cabin.

The MyTouch looks tiny compared to our C-MAX. I guess they're using a 6" screen versus 8". That sucks. Backup cam does route to that screen.

Rear doors attach to a magnet when full open. It's pretty stout.

I have seen and have said its really a step UP from the econoline.
Another happy person. I want the Nav. gps,I think the screen is bigger?

Glad to hear that you liked the Ford Transit so much. I saw it at the Canadian International Auto Show and I was very impressed too. It appears to be capable, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, which is a holy trifecta in the full size van world.

If the worst part of the vehicle in your opinion is the 6" screen rather than the 8", then I would say that Ford has done a really good job.

Not bad at all. I haven't had the chance to see one in person yet and hearing this positive real world review helps. Have you seen the promaster?
I will be first to bash. Seen 15-20 of them (Ducato's)
What do you want to hear bad 1st?
Driver comfort?
Build quality?

The dealer I looked at them, had a NGV dodge badged Spinter in the back,it was dirty and being used as a dealer "truck".Right next to it was a 0 mile Ducato with new decals as the new dealer truck.
The NGV Sprinter looked/is 1000% times better vehicle. It was Sunday and they where closed, but I wanted to asked the sales people "I want one of them" (dodge NGV Sprinter) just to see his reaction

Yes, drove one. I really didn't like it. Very uncomfortable seats and just position overall. Felt really cheap. Like a stripped out mini-van. They are at the wrong price-point with the Promaster, imo.
