Here is the current preview group for this week. As we know, things may change during the week so the final scheduling will happen on Thursday.
Body..Eng..Exterior Color..Interior Trim
R2C...E..Carbonized Gray...Ebony Leather
W2X...E..Carbonized Gray...Ebony Leather
R1X...E..Avalanche Gray...Dk Palazzo Gray Cloth
X9C...E..Carbonized Gray...Ebony Leather
X9X..E...Abyss Gray...Ebony Leather

After seeing what happened last week, looks like Ford is having some 3.5L EcoBoost engines available. Ebony Leather seems to be easy to access for Ford as far as interior material choices. Will know more on Thursday if these make the list for scheduling in January/February 2023.
Do you know how many total they can build in a month?

Not that I am aware of. My van was originally ordered 1/26/22, balanced out in August, re-ordered for 2023.

All things being equal, would Ford build the R2C (250), E2C (150) and W2C (350) all at the same time? The only difference are the leaf springs!

In the past, that's what they did. I would even use the priority code on the same body shells so Ford would see that within our order bank and they would select those orders together. Now we are faced with certain parts shortages that complicates Ford trying to do that selection. As you may have seen on the first forum thread, they were looking at pulling 4 of the passenger vans together as they go to a separate building to add the rear seats after the Transit is built.

On this weeks Ford order report, they are telling us that any Transits with the Power Sliding Side Door and any Chassis Cab or Cutaway Vans with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine can not be scheduled.

Our van was built 12/3 and delivered this week. Originally ordered October '21, reordered August '22 as a 23MY. It is W2X HR with EcoBoost, Sync4, and Black HID headlights. Funny thing is that I received email from Ford on 12/8 (after the van had actually been built) apologizing for the continued delay in getting the van built and that there would be more delay ;)
CrewVanMan and his team at Crossley have been really helpful and informative - much more so than the dealer I ordered thru in Oct '21.

Looks like they will be scheduling a lot of the passenger van for the WEEK of 1/30/2023

I was reviewing my order. I thought that I ordered a W2X but ordered a F6X.

I am not seeing any F6x's in your order list. Taking a wild guess, would it be better for me to change my order to a W2X in terms of getting a VIN/production date? I placed my order on 6/2/22.

Thanks,

They will be off for the Holidays after today or tomorrow depending on the current weather situation in Kansas City. It is currently -2 and snowing in the area. At least for us, we are not getting any Transits scheduled for production this week.

During the month, we got 7, then 9, and lastly 5 Transit scheduled during the month for January and February build dates. We are looking for get at least 20+ scheduled every month through August that would help us get ALL of our retail customer orders done and possibly some stock ordered units built.

Thanks for the constant updates. I have a PSD on my build and plan to leave it there. It seems the only update that really matters to me is when the PSD is available again. Given it has been over a year since I've seen it, perhaps that will merit its own thread ;)

I also have Sync4, HID lamps, eco-boost... but assume the bottleneck is going to remain the PSD.

Ditto same here. The order guide always said "late availability." I figure PSD builds would be scheduled for the June/July time frame (before they switch over to 2024 production in August/September).

I am "fingers crossed" that they will get scheduled earlier. Hopefully Ed's contacts at the factory will be able to give a head's up when the first PSD vans are scheduled.

I received a email on 1/1/2023 from Ford for my van stating that they still have supply chain issues. Maybe it's the ecoboost and HID headlamps.

Ford just listed the options that are being held up for scheduling for the Transit for WEEK of 2/27/2023.

HID Headlamps, BOTH the Black and Chrome trimmed option

Currently NOT AVAILABLE...
Power Sliding Door (65C)
3.5L base engine (998) for Chassis Cab & Cutaway

Things are looking to get better as Ford has caught up with the shortage of the 3.5L EcoBoost engine and the SYNC4 audio packages. Will see what Ford does as far as scheduling for this coming week.

Does this mean that all XLT passenger vans are not being scheduled since they have HID headlamps standard?

Ford is previewing these 10 orders for our scheduling this week.

R1C
R2D
R2X
R2X
R2X
W2X
X2C
W3U
W3U
X9Y

One note
..ALL of them have the 3.5L EcoBoost engine so looks like Ford has solved the problem for having that engine available. A few of these orders have the Virtual Rear View Mirror option, Black HID Headlamps, and one with the Bulkhead with Lockable Door. So looks like Ford is getting more of the options that were originally restricted for scheduling vehicles.
