I was sick and tired of the truck going into regeneration mode and limp mode, loss of all power. i did some calling around and found someone local to my in NY willing to tune the truck. Greg from SSP Tuning came by removed my ecu from the car for no charge. Ended up doing a stage 1 tune and egr off dpf off, now no more regen mode and no more servicing the dpf. Stock hp is 185 greg claims car makes 230hp now. another thing i love is the speed limiter is now removed :)
highly recommended i know tuning these new sid208 and sid209 ecus was really hard to find im glad i did he also stated that you can mail in your ecu for programming

I haven't had an issue with mine going into regen or limp mode and cutting power.

Was there something causing this?

I'm interested in a higher performance tune. I don't want crazy but a little more would be good.

Please post back after you've put some miles on it.

Mine has never gone into limp while in regen either....
Did your "tuner" actually physically remove the DPF filter- sounds like not.
If it clogs completely, and it will without the periodic cleaning cycle, the motor will have little to no power, too much back pressure.

Let me tell you this what a big difference. The only issue I had was fixing someone go remove my actual DPF system, I ended up removing up and cutting it open and removing everything from inside.. Car runs better then ever ...

Transit32nyc, have you had any issues with the tune and exhaust mods over the last year? Did you have to take it in for any warranty work since the modifications?
