My dealer called me today and confirmed that Ford Canada's offer to anyone with an order placed before the order cut off date in February 22 will be $5000 Canadian. Not even close to the US offer but better than nothing.
Any chance you can forward me that email?
I ordered Oct 2021, and when I stopped in to talk to the dealer last week they said they haven't had any update, since April when they said it might be built in November.
Not too impressed with my dealer

I'm betting around Jan 1 there will be some first posts from new users asking if anyone has got updates on their 2022 orders, because they've still heard nothing from their dealer. And it'll be Crossley Ford.

I'm going to see how long it takes for my refund to get processed unprompted.
If you would like a refund, we process them at the time of the request. It usually takes less than 5 minutes after the phone request.

In the early stages of the balance out for the 2022 model Transits, there was some rumors floating around that Ford was not going to compensate for the price increase for the balanced out orders. Not sure how this got started, but that is not correct. As I am sure you know by now that Ford is offering all 2022 Transit Orders (that were COVP'd properly through the dealership) a $6,000 certificate for the order on a 2023 model Transit.

Ford Canada is in a different country. After 343 post on this thread alone we know what you get. @iamsuperdan is a very kind Canadian dealer who keeps us up north informed.

Ford Canada is a complete joke compared to Ford in the US

The dealers play their cards so close to there chest they wont give you any information on how your order was placed was it part of there allocation or an additional order on top of there allocation. They do not understand what a COVP stands from it does not seem to exist in Canada. We have been beating our heads against the keyboard and phone trying to get information from Ford Canada regarding a private offer and apart from one post saying we would get $5,000 CAD in comparison to $6,000 USD that's another Joke

We are currently meant to get a call in two business days from a CXS (Customer Experience Specialist) we even have a case number that message was Aug 26 a week ago. Customer response and appreciation fail significantly.

I cant even get build dates confirmed through customer service best i get is a range of dates yet dealer says its scheduled when he responds.

My dealer told me yesterday that Ford has eliminated his zone rep in a cost-cutting move. This means he no longer has a way to interface with Ford corporate to advocate for customers, answer questions, etc. It is not clear if all zone reps have been eliminated or if zones are being consolidated - in either case, this means diminished service across the board. It looks like Ford USA is determined to catch up to Ford Canada in the race to the bottom when it comes to service.

Curious, what communication from Ford early on indicated they were going to compensate those balanced out? That certainly is not what was shared on here among the masses, including the individual that brokers a lot of transits for you, who encouraged contacting Ford as the only hope to get things changed.

I got the email that they got my order, but I'm told that I still need to sign and reply another email before it's official that my order is in. We are patiently waiting still for that email.

Should we go ahead and try to place another order through another dealership?

Do you have anything in writing on this? Im in Ontario.
I went to the stealership today and my van has arrived. When we started talking money they said i was not eligible for balanced out rebate. He said that in Canada the cut off date for the rebate was Nov 2021. I ordered Jan 2022.

Anyone has any more info on this would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE :(
Has anyone in Canada successfully gotten the balanced out rebate?

I have never seen a copy of the Ford notification to dealerships in Canada. It seems we in Canada are at the hands of our dealers honesty

Well....it has finally happened. Overnight Ford has moved all of our 'Unscheduled - Clean' orders to 'Unscheduled - Balanced Out' status. That will end any 2022 unscheduled Transits to be built. Now we just need to know what is going to happen with price protection (if any at all) and if there is any build priority for 2022 orders that were not scheduled.

I have been telling our customers to request a build out of their 2023 order and make any changes needed. We may hold off submitting those 2023 orders until Ford gives us direction on the other mentioned questions above. Once we know more details on the 2022 to 2023 transition, I will continue to place a forum thread for those changes.
I ordered my ford transit connect in Feb 2022. I just recieved an automated email from Ford: Confirming my order Your 2023 Transit Connect XL Cargo Van Order. So they moved my 2022 order to 2023 without informing me???

The only entity that would re-enter your 22 order info into the 23 ordering system would be your dealership. Sounds like there is a communication gap.

I just saw a thread on Face Book (Ford Transit USA Owners | Facebook) were a person ordered a very similar Transit to the one I ordered in early 2022. Of course I got balanced out and re-ordered a 2023 that was exactly the same. I also aquired the "private offer" as my dealer put both my 22 and 23 orders in the COVP system. Great right? This person on FB ordered his van in September of this year and now has a VIN while all I get is the 45 day "we're short on parts" e-mail". My order is for a very basic MR cargo with EB motor. Why did he get a build VIN and I have not: guessing it's becuase he paid full boat 23 MSRP and I have a -$6k private offer!! I think Ford is trying to just rid of us private offer people. Change my mind.

What does that mean, private offer? Is that consider the rebate? My dealer said I will be getting a rebate, but did not say how much.
