I couldn't find what I wanted to do the job so I designed and made my own! If there is enough interest, I could make some more. Rectangular tube steel with plastic end caps, 1/4" steel plate, no drilling or tapping required! Fits 2015-2019.

There's LOTS of room inside the plastic bumper. so I mounted some flush lights for cornering (OEM lowbeams do NOT light anything except straight ahead!)
I think I might add a small flood lightbar in the grill, especially if I find one to replace the FORD section.

I'd prefer not to block the factory windshield cleaning foot step. :)
Nope, there is plenty of room to put both feet in between the fog lights, even with huge winter boots on! I use the "step slot" often here in Vermont, it was a requirement not to block it.

More details, please. Pics of what you fabbed before install?

If not drilling/tapping is required, how does it mount? Using the license plate bracket holes?!

It mounts very tight and strong to the two pre-existing M8 bolts behind the OEM license plate holder,

I thought I had exhausted the market last summer. Still really liking mine over any other option out there! I would need more interest in order to make another batch as that's the only way to break even or even make a little beer money. My design will not work on 2020 or newer Transits due to the new front sensor. I could possibly sell you the design drawing??

I can’t make one with the tools/lack of skills I have, but if you make any more, I’m interested. Thanks for getting back to me.

same. what would the cost be?
I was selling them for $240 with free shipping (it's a big heavy box!) I need to make a minimum of five at a time to make it worth while. There is another company out there making something similar. It doesn't have the underneath wrap to mount fog lights and it has dedicated light bar mounting brackets. Mine you can mount what ever you want anywhere due to the rectangular tube design.

Ah so the fog lights in your picture above are also mounted to the same piece as the light bar above the plate? That’s very neat. Are there any pre drilled holes in the bracket or is that all diy?

Yes, the fog lights actually "hang" from the bottom wrap of the steel plate. No pre-drilled anything except for the mounting holes. The fog light spacing works great with still being able to put your feet in the bumper step to clean the windshield.

Sounds great. There's no difference in that hole between the ecoboost and the 3.7 is there? I see you have an EB. Assuming not I guess I'm the third to be on the interested list. Now we just have to recruit two more into this pyramid scheme? Come on people, you know you want one!

No difference in the lower grill slot on any 2015-2019, all the same as far as I know. The 2020 and later models changed the grill in that area and added a sensor zone which blocked the mount from wrapping into that slot. I did make one for someone with a 2020 that didn't have the fog light return bend.

Continuing the conversation to keep it active in the hope a couple more express interest....is it feasible/easier to make a version that lacks the top bar and just supports fog lights only?

I have been looking for something similar. Any chance you took and can share a photo of the mount before installation? Noticed some vehicles with lights that look like they are mounted on the front license plate holder but the reviews for all the one's I found on A****N said they were rather flimsy and need to be mounted to metal. Can you please estimate the cost for lights like those in the photo and what installation entails?

@StarkMtn
Hey, nice design. I've been contemplating something like that for a while and haven't seen anything that is sturdy enough or has the mount options that your offers. I'm definitely interested in one of your light bars should you drum up the required interest. I would prefer to drill for the upper mount, myself, as I'm unsure as to whether I want to mount individual lights or a bar at this point--likely the latter. I'll also pm you.
