My van will be built june 17 2016.

The window sticker is so small I can't see all the goodies...46 grand, huh? You've got that thing loaded up good.

Throw up some pictures once you get it. Congrats, the van is awesome. I absolutely love mine.

Congratulation on your new van. I'm in the same boat with you, mine was supposedly built on 6-8-16. Now waiting for it to show up on the etis site, a few of the member say this usually takes 4 to 7 day. Expecting delivery on 7-5-16 per dealer. With the window sticker you at lease start to see light at the end of the tunnel. Again congratulations on you new van, can't wait to see some pictures!

Thanks for the post! This helps frame my expectations for window sticker and build date. Your VIN ends B43127 and mine is B43548, a mere 421 Transits behind yours (I am assuming the VINs are sequential with no skips).

Our estimated build week was the week of June 20th so this is looking pretty likely at this point.

Thanks everyone. I'm from Canada so the price is in canadian money. That could explein the high price.

The "out the door" price I got is 46 000 can$ with all our taxes (15%) and with costco 1000$ rebate. This is quite expensive but I'm really happy with this deal. I think this van is worth. The price could be less expensive if Ford give better promotion at the delivery date.

Nope, they don't build them sequential by VIN numbers! They skip all over the place. One member on this forum had a VIN # 43,000 units above mine and got his 3 weeks earlier then I did. Nice thought though and would help trying to get a idea of when it's built and delivered.

How were you able to order so soon? I was told April 4th 2016 but the website STILL doesn't take any orders for the Ford Transit 2017s~ I've been bugging my salesman so much he just yesterday sent me HIS dealer website list of options so I spent half the night deciding. Going to submit them to him by email later today... but going to read your's first! hahaha


OIC you're ordering a 2016. Still, exciting!

BTW for any chart or graph or even font that's too small, do a CTRL and the "+" and it will increase the size on the monitor.

Thanks for this update. I ordered April 20th so hopefully that means I'll get my Window Sticker soon.
I was able to get mine at this morning around 1:30AM, with a build date on the window sticker of 22 June -- right at 7 days out. I had checked yesterday evening with no luck so it wouldn't surprise me if the servers that generate this stuff run a set interval around midnight to generate this stuff for Transit production 1 week out (but could just be a coincidence as well).

I got my window sticker this morning with a build date of 06/24. Unfortunately I changed the color from shadow black to magnetic 3 days after I ordered it and I double checked with the dealer that the change was made. The window sticker says shadow black. The dealer says he's called his ford rep to see why because they put the change in. He's trying to get it changed but I don't think it's possible and I'm getting a line of S. Not as happy as when I first saw my window sticker come up.

Your dealer should have went into the Ford system and verified the change was made. When the order is input, it has a dealer number and order number attached to it until it gets a VIN. They could access it at any time and see if the change was made. It is the DEALERS responsibility to see the change is made, not the rep. They could have reprinted the order after the change was input to be sure it was changed and given you the printed copy of the changed order.

When Glenn T submitted his order to Matt Ford on his T-250 van, he wasn't sure if he wanted Lunar Sky or Magnetic Metallic. He thought Lunar Sky was what he wanted but had never seen either color until I sent him to a South Texas dealer who happened to have both colors on their lot. His original order was submitted for the Lunar Sky, but after seeing both colors in person, he decided he liked the Magnetic Metallic better and called Ryan Matt to get his order changed. Ryan went into the Ford system and made the change, then sent Glenn T the updated order change via email. He did get the Magnetic Metallic T-250 and picked it up at Matt Ford in Buckner, MO.

Unless they have some Magnetic Metallic units running close to the same date of production and can move it in the paint lineup, I don't see it being changed. Just follow up with your dealer and see what they find out. You can continue to look at your window sticker and see if the exterior color changes.

If they can't make the change, have them order a 2017 model at the agreed price of the 2016 model, including what the rebate would be at the actual time the Transit gets to their dealership. Right now the National Rebate is $2150 up to 7/5 as verified by the information on the Matt Ford website. I would suspect your ordered Transit would get to your WA dealer after the 7/5 date so it would be under any new rebate program that is offered by Ford.

Your dealer just tried to put the error off on the rep but it is THEIR OWN ERROR in not checking on the change and reprinting the order IF THEY ACTUALLY MADE the change to the color.

What was the final decision on the 2016 Black Transit? Did the dealer take credit for the mistake of not checking the order when they made the change or just played it on their rep? What kind of deal did they make on the 2017? I noticed you made changes and does that affect the pricing on the 2016 you ordered?

If they put in the 2017 Transit order, it will not be confirmed until the second week of July when they issue VINs. Be sure to get a printed out order that should have the dealer number and order number on it. It may be coming with that information now that they have placed the order.
