My 2018 Transit was previously a cargo hauler for a company. They screwed 1/2" plywood into the floor leaving holes that are getting rusty from the bottom.

I plan to grind the rust away and spray it with spray paint to protect it from future rust. Then, with an absence of better ideas, I will shoot some spray foam from below to fill the hole before continuing on my plan of adding seats and insulating the floor for the build out.

There has to be a better option than filling holes from the bottom with spray foam. Thoughts? I need to get the hole size but maybe they make plugs? My local hardware store (Menards) did not have anything in the hardware section.

you could try epoxy with some fiberglass cloth. or maybe as simple as the "Flexseal" tape on both sides.

If you are installing a vent using our adapter then you will be using 3M windoweld or 5200 fast-cure. Either of those would be great for sealing and protecting those holes from further corrosion.

All the best,
