I bought a used wagon from a dealer in Georgia and found that the original order from the factory included a speed limiter set to 75 mph. This was one of a fleet of passenger rigs apparently and doesn't seem to have the "my Key" option.

My local Ford service manager has no idea what to do and referred me to Ford customer service, who told me to find the "administration key." These are included in the "my key" package, but I don't have this.

Any ideas? My local interstate speed limit is 70, which means my life is in danger if I don't stay in the slow lane. Is this a matter of buying a new admin key, or a chip programming?

Thanks!

Here's my answer, after the run around from 4 ford dealerships, 2 calls to F Cus Serv....

"Thank you for contacting the Body Builder Advisory Service. Vehicle speed limiting is programmable by the dealer. It may be set to 65 MPH, 75MPH, or off."

Land speed record for MR t350 wagon, here I come!
