Purchasing a 350 SRW "loaded" tall/extended.

Do they offer an extended warranty?
Is it any good?

Is it worth it?

What can I expect price wise?

What's realistic price to pay?

I never get the extended warranty on my personal cars because I never keep them that long. This one will be a different story because it's a plumbing van.

I'm new here too, so i might not be the right guy to give suggestions, advice is too strong a word. I just bought a brand new rv with 350hd chassis and i got an extended warranty/service plan. In the past i had a ford diesel pickup and got an extended warranty/service plan and when it came time to use i was very glad i did have it!
For what ever reason diesels come with expensive repair and replacement bills. If you need it your glad you have it, if you don't use it you think you wasted your money.

If you get one make sure it's an exclusioary plan and a plan that covers damage from an uncovered part.

Got the 7/100k warranty for $1100. I thought that was pretty cheap and would most likely eat that up at some point.

I bought a small extended warranty with mine only to cover the next 3 years. it wasn't too insane but then I came home and saw I could get the same warranty for half the price through Ford Direct.

At first it was around $4k when you did the math lol. "It's only 25per month " or something like that .

I have been looking through this thread. We are picking up our Transit wagon today so this conversation will come up I am sure. I clicked through on the link for the Ford direct option. Looks like there are a variety of levels to consider. What levels are people buying?

Our van will be a daily driver for shuttling kids around if that changes thoughts. Thanks.
