Darn. Nearest location to me is 200 miles away. And they only list the Nissan NV as a 'maybe'.
Thanks. I believe they were going to be getting in low roof 15-passenger Wagons also, as VanMan reported in November:I saw this at lunch.
We have had a lot of rain in Northern Ca. and I have spent a lot of time inside of cargo vans at the dealer. Guess what: the Transits leak water through the fasteners that hold on the lower plastic body panel on the sides. Ford copied the Sprinter with the same results. They have had low roof lwb wagons and cargo Transits since nov-2014 in my area, they also have low roof pro-master cargos also (in my area) (Enteprise) as shown in the photo
May rent a pro-master just because I "bash" them so much, so I can say "yes, they are a total piece of SH*T)
owners of pro-masters are now reporting water in the interior and with salt on the roads, it wount be long before they are rusting like the sprinters they replaced
Medium roofs as U-Hauls?Saw a couple of medium roof cargo vans all painted up as U-Haul vans headed toward Santa Rosa Ca. on flat bed truck last Tuesday.
In ProMasters, right? The water leaks I was referring to was the clearance lamps on the roof which leak on to the headliner, then to the dome light, lower part of the windshield, wheel well seams, rain gutter into the back doors.......... rocker panels..........
Yes, the pro-master is the leakerIn ProMasters, right?
I still don't get why the ProMasters need those ugly clearance lamps that can leak when SRW Transits that are just as wide get away without them. Ducatos look much cleaner without the lights, not that any van is great looking anyway. I just don't like those lights because they stand out -- like the afterthought they are.The water leaks I was referring to was the clearance lamps on the roof which leak on to the headliner, then to the dome light, lower part of the windshield, wheel well seams, rain gutter into the back doors.......... rocker panels..........
Two on other side of freeway going opposite direction on flatbed trailer. Either medium or high roof and 148" WB.Medium roofs as U-Hauls?
That's pretty cool. Were they MWB or LWB?
Care to elaborate why you bash them? I'm honestly interested in your opinion, particularly since you haven't driven one. They have had low roof lwb wagons and cargo Transits since nov-2014 in my area, they also have low roof pro-master cargos also (in my area) (Enteprise) as shown in the photo

The Transit van with water in it was at the local dealer. It was a high roof 148" WB cargo van. Water was in the lower body on right side between the end of the sliding door and the right rear wheel well. About 1/2" deep. The plastic stripe molding is held on by plastic fasteners pushed into holes. Sprinters have the same problem so some have put sealant on the fasteners/holes on the inside and some put the sealant on fastener outside before snapping on the plastic molding.Yes, the pro-master is the leaker
The redesign for the 2015 ducato was to address the windshield cowl leaks, don't know if it was caried over to the mexican built promaster
