I am looking to add a third seat to my transit cargo van. I saw these images from the UK with Dual Front Passenger Seats - anyone know if these exist in the US?

Don't expect this special front seat to show up on the US version of the Transit. If it becomes available, it may be a FLEET ONLY option similar to the Center Console Delete package.

There may be a airbag issue that would have to be changed if the extra front passenger was added to the front compartment area. Would like to see how the dashboard configuration looks like with this seat option as far as the layout for airbags.

I think manufacturers have gone away with any sort of bench in the US by request. For many they believe it is not as aesthetically pleasing and would rather a console or pass-through.

With as many configurations as there are on these vehicles, what's one more?

What about as an aftermarket add-on? any idea how to find a part number for a european part - and possibly order in the US?
