Hi I was at a car show recently in the uk and ford were showing off there new gt40 concept car. The car was being transported in a transit box transporter with a very unusual design.. I am trying to find a company that make this type of conversion. I have been told is was done in the US, please see the attachment. ant ideas. Many thanks rick

It looks like a chassis cab custom built wrecker bed. Probably has the 3.2L diesel engine. So far I have only seen one chassis cab on the road and it was a box truck. Got close enough to tell it was the diesel. Have seen them on the dealer lots but that was the first one on the road.

Could not tell from the picture, but does it have the dual rear wheels?

Bet it is the European Transit with front wheel drive. Might be tough on the driveshaft if it was rear wheel drive.
