Now available on Etsy
Ford Transit Campervan Rear Door Mounts for 253 Degree Hinges (aka 270), DIY Extra Storage - Etsy

I have wanted to build my own rear door rack for carrying bicycles or my unicycle but all the manufactured options were way to expensive for me so I decided to design my own and the goal is to sell these on Etsy and save people a lot of money, and or time. Enabling DIYers to customize a rear door rack to fit their needs. I understand not everyone has a welder or wants to build something with 8020 but for a fabricator these base mounts will save a lot of time.

PM me if your interested in one, I can sell directly to members for a discount avoiding Etsy fees

5 people showed interest from another thread where I mentioned I was making these. So I ordered 5 powder coated black and if I designed enough tolerance to match Ford's assembly tolerances then I'll sell them on Etsy. But for now I have a rather inexpensive bike rack mount for myself :)

I’m interested. Could you send me a PM with more info? I’m new to the forum and I can’t send PM’s. Thanks

I'm not sure if I'm the first, but I received my brackets from @dinocarsfast. They seem to be high quality and powder coat looks good. They bolted up to my van with no issues so far!
You're the second person other than me, the other person didn't send me any pictures, but said it was good. Good luck with the bike rack!
