I have noticed a lot of reflections at night off the side windows from on coming traffic. Mine have been tinted, but have not really noticed the dash being an issue.

If anyone plans on tinting the driver/passenger windows,...it can create a situation where the windows reflect the dash to such a degree that it interferes with viewing the door mirrors because of the light colored dash,...in particular,...the light blue corner cup holders.
A dark color "custom dash mat" is not going reach the light blue cup holders,...which will cause most of the reflection problem.
Perhaps these cup holders could be removed and dipped in dye? Just asking.
Also obvious,...with even a low tint, like a Wincos 20 PS SR,...any lightening of the dash with a Dash Kit, will likely manifest reflection problems with aftermarket tinting.

I have an appointment to get my side windows tinted and the legal limit here in Maryland is 20%. Is that even worth spending the quoted price of $100?.......I like being legal

Must have something to do with the brand. These side windows are quite large,...and even with the factory UV, I'd like some extra protection for all day drives. Perhaps a 30 or 35 wouldn't reflect as much.
I have 35% on my side windows and get some reflection, I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker. As far as 35% on the side windows, I wish I would have gone 20%. There is so much light that comes in through the front window and the light color interior that the 35% appears to be more like 50% (the legal limit in Ohio). My other vehicles have the same 35% on the front windows with black interiors and you can hardly see in them.
Yes it is worth it, get as dark as you and be legal.Interesting.

2015 Transit Dash Covers
I have searched online for a dash cover but every Transit link I follow turns out to be ONLY for Transit Connect. 1983 when I bought my two year old 1981 E150 with 80,000 miles in Phoenix, the dealer salesman 'threw-in' a $40 custom dash cover to match the blue interior color.
It was like a filter material bound on the edges. I was told it was so air could circulate. Occasionally I would take it off, shake out dust then replace. When the vehicle caught fire and burned in April 1997 the dash was pristine no cracking or fading. I would like to find a similar product for my brand new 2015 Transit.

Don't know what plastic they are made of but I dyed an olive drab polymer handgun frame with black RIT dye.Perhaps these cup holders could be removed and dipped in dye?
Worked great! Can't tell it from the factory black frame.

If you picked up the right end of an RHD and flipped it upside down would it not fit LHD?

no they wouldn't unfortunately because they are contoured to the shape of the dash and left and right sides are differentre: The only ones that exist are made in australia but they are made for rhd models unfortunately.
