In looking at options, I'm trying to figure out the rear heat a/c options. If I chose nothing, what heat/ac does the rear get? Do they have any vents? Any in the ceiling? Or for the option; "Front and rear auxiliary A/C and heater (driver-controlled)"- what does this actually mean? Are there more vents? extra fans? Bigger AC? Even my dealer has no idea. And of course none exist at any dealers to see.
Thanks!

If you choose nothing, the only heat you will get in the rear are from the vents in the dash. There are no vents on the ceiling or under the passenger and drivers seat.

If you choose the Rear AC/Heat option, you will get heat from under the front seat and you will get AC from the rear AC Unit. I'm not sure if they will give you AC vents in the ceiling but if I had to guess, I suspect they wouldn't give you ceiling vents in the Crew Portion of the rear area. If you do get the rear AC/Heat option, keep in mind that the unit takes up a bit of room at the back of the van.

@TopFuelDan Is that a 148" Long? If it is would you mind measuring the length from the doorstep to the wheel well (green) and from the inside of the protruding column to the wheel well (red).

Thanks in advance! I don't get my transit until the end of August but would like to start planning my layout.

The second row area is where airbag is located so you can't have a vent in that area. The blower housing is in the rear floor and is only vented from the housing at the floor level.
10/4 - I’m going to order the duct 19N608 that’s in the passenger van and attach it to the blower motor so I can discharge the A/C from the ceiling. The motors are the same, correct?

Everything is the same. I have added the duct and the split connector so you can direct air to the front and side of the van using the same RH & LH ductwork from a passenger van
Great news! Thank you sir.

Off topic - I posted in a forum about swivel seats in the Crew and one member said there was an inverter underneath the passenger seat and the heater was in the back with the A/C?

That sounds like he was describing his aftermarket setup.
The optional factory inverter is located in the parking brake housing, not sure where it is on the new vans with an e-brake.
Factory rear heat unit is located under the passenger seat as described and pictured above.

When they went to the e-brake, the inverter went into the passenger seat floor support.
Thx, I tried to find an image of it. It does not preclude the rear heat, does it?
