Revisited the Ford Transit build site. The interior option list includes boxes to select carpet and rear vinyl flooring. The rear vinyl floor box is checked before you start selecting any options. If you select front carpets the check mark in the vinyl floor box is deleted.

So it looks like selecting the carpet removes the rear vinyl floor.

Apparently so, as those of us with rear AC in van know. The dealer was as confused as we are because nowhere did it state that adding front carpet would delete the rear vinyl floor.

I bet Ford had to quickly change the options to show this as I bet they have got a lot of orders for the rear floor. Dealer has no idea when I will see it.

I may go to Lowes and get a 12' x 5' piece of indoor/outdoor carpet to use until the new floor arrives.

I'm in the same boat, had to order front carpet to get the rear AC to take. I really wanted the rubber floor in the back.

I just laid some rubber backed indoor/out carpet in mine to hold me over until the rubber comes in. The parts guy has no idea when as they are not in stock anywhere.
