This one might be to someone at Ford parts or whoever understands steering wheels.
Looking to upgrade my cheap steering wheel and replace with a leather one, mine is 2020 Ford Transit T-250 AWD, does not have adaptive cruise control.

The guys in the parts can't pull my exact part because its NOT vin specific (no duh - im looking to upgrade, lol)
Can someone in this forum help locate exact part number, or ill buy one from you.

I don't want to try and order then pay 20% restocking fee.

I sent you a VIN that can be used to look up the part number for the Leather steering wheel. You may have problem with getting the steering wheel to fit properly if you do not have Cruise Control or just have the basic Cruise Control on your vehicle.

Leather steering wheels usually only come on vans with high level option packages. So if you don’t have cruise control or radio controls on the wheel currently it will probably be hard to find one that has the same options on a leather wheel. Some of the buttons can be unscrewed and transferred over easily enough. If I were you I would think a better option would be to check eBay for a used wheel. Also a wheel from a fusion or explorer might work but you would be testing that on your own

Make note of that. Ford's VIN-specific parts system makes it great to find replacement parts for what your van was built with, yet will eliminate the option to find anything at all that was not put on your van on the assembly line.

The two best options are to use a VIN from a van that has the part you want on it (like @CrewVanManInfo sent you), or just search by model year, etc.

A professional parts counter person understands that.

PS: another dilemma is the model year you choose. For instance, if I try to find a part for my 2015 that was not available until 2018, the system may not find it and/or say this part does NOT fit your vehicle.

I want to do this as well on my van. I did have a vin number of a van that had it, and the steering wheel controls were very close on it with the additional of buttons for adaptive cruise versus regular cruise. I can't see why i couldn't just swap the buttons off mine into it. If you get anywhere with this let me know.

I will order one tomorrow and try it if I can get the right part number. Idk what I did with the vin on that vehicle that had one. Gonna take me forever to find it.

Update, there is the part numbers. I am gonna order the middle one and hope for the best! I can let you know if it's the right one. Sounds like you have the setup I have so it mine works I think yours will.

The next question would be how the F do we swap this out properly without blowing airbag out, etc.

Awesome game plan please let me know how that goes and how it feels.
So installing an airbag is simple (I had my own car dealership for many years)
Disconnect the battery negative terminal, then start your new steering wheel installing process.
Excited to hear your process!

Don’t have it yet :-/
Waiting on crewvanman to see about some running boards. If I can’t get his I’ll be doing a big order with steering wheel and those. Don’t wanna pay shipping twice so once running board things settled I’ll place order.

I just bought a replacement wheel from Ford as well. I have a high spec '20 passenger van with adaptive cruise control though so it was easy to find based on my VIN. I sent mine to the UK to add a thicker bolsters on the wheel and other go fast features like a touch of alcantara here and there.
