I am trying to locate a low roof. Short wheel base. Eco boost. More options the better. Preferred: 10 passenger. Charcoal. LS. Sliding door. Camera and reverse alarm are a must.

In the process of ordering. Getting very frustrated. If I could just find one...

Thanks for your help.

Remember San Antonio............or just take the window sticker from that Transit and have the dealer order one just like it.
1FMZK1ZG2FKA52827 is waiting for you to come get it!

2 White ones at Holmes Tuttle Ford in Tucson, AZ; FKA53219 & FKA58582

Nothing new from my last check on a Low Roof, 130" WB
Or the one in route to Houston ordered by mhnatt but it is a 350 Low Roof FKA69609

San Antonio vs tucson

Thanks Crewman.
They are almost perfect! If I could just combine the two. Tx has only 8 seats and Tucson no LS. Boo hoooooo for me.

Can you find anything else?? I greatly appreciate your help! I am at the point where I would gladly hop on a flight.
I'm at a point where I believe what I want will get pushed out somewhere before I could get one custom from dealer.

Let me know exactly what you want........Exterior color, interior, know about the 3.5L, Low Roof, the rear camera, etc. The farther east from you , the number of Transits get larger. Did you look at the mhnatt Transit coming in at the Houston dealership?
VIN is 1FBZX2YG9FKA69609...I know it is a 148" WB!

I will keep looking but this one may be a deal you can't find or beat!

Nothing out there in the Transit you are looking for. The main options that take out most of the available Ford inventory is the Low Roof, 130" WB, 3.5L EcoBoost, and 10 passenger seating.
Found some that fit this build (with special order notation) but they were being routed to Indiana for custom build units, possibly Explorer vans or another conversion company.

This one just appeared as it was dealer traded

1FMZK1YG4FKA58582

It has 3.5L engine, Low Roof, 130" WB, 3.5L engine, Reverse park aid and rear camera, 10 passenger, and Charcoal cloth. NO limited slip and ?? on the sliding door.

Checked with the General Manager of the dealership, it has the sliding door and it is currently available.

Not quite right

The Mhnatt one is too long. Shoot. And the one in Tucson is white. I would go for either but wife won't do long or white! Dang it!?

Was it two weeks ago you started the process of finding the perfect Transit already built? Might be time to reexamine whether ordering one is the best bet, in my personal opinion . . .

Ordered it

So yea.. I have been on the hunt while waiting for the dealer to get the lead out. Yea so i started looking about a month ago.. Then I went to the dealer 8 days ago. Met with the fleet manager. Sat down and ordered the perfect match for my taste. Since that time the dealer hasn't given me a lot of feedback. Had some questions they couldn't answer. Wasn't getting emails returned, etc. . So started looking on the web again to see if anything was out there.

I feel confident that ford is going to start rolling out more and more xlt wagons geared to families... So thought I'd ask again...

All that said, the dealer finally called me back today confirming the order is in and we are waiting for a "Dora"?? He first said that would take a week. Then said two weeks. I just don't feel confidence in their ability...

So here comes 16 - 24 weeks of pain....

Thanks for all your help!

At some point when you get too many options on a Transit, you are better to bite the bullet and go on and order one. Most of the Low roof Transit Wagons the dealers are ordering have the 3.7L V-6 engine. When you go to the Medium Roof Transit Wagon, they go more with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine and 3.31 rear axle ratio.

Found the right Low Roof Wagon for Bajatransit as far as options, but then anything other than white exterior was out of the question. Still over 95% of the Transits are white exterior with more of the wagons know coming out with the popular colors. On my search found a School Bus Yellow Transit Wagon and a couple of Canadian orders with English and French window stickers!

Bajatransit, may I suggest that you consider transforming your characterization of "pain" from waiting months, to one of something like joyful anticipation that you and your wife will soon be receiving the exact vehicle you want to enjoy for the next 5-10 years? This shift may be a matter of personal choice IMO.

I figure that you will enjoy the final arrival that much more if you first maximize the immediate pain of impatient waiting.

Sorta like how good it feels when you stop hitting yourself with a hammer.

Yea yea yea

Yea. I get it. Pain is in the eye of the beholder.... Not so much pain.though. For me it's more a frustration in the archaic process. It would be so easy for the dealer to bild in more transparency to the build process That is all.

Good old-fashioned courtesy and communication would cover most of Ford's sins in this rollout . . .
