Trickle charger mounted. Went with a solar panel rather than wall plug. Should be pretty convenient to never think about it again. Now I have to figure out how to attach it to the batteries appropriately.

Rear windows installed. Wish I'd googled AW1033 Ford Transit before starting. becuase then I would have seen the thread about them not fitting well. Double curved van wall vs a flat window. The stock foam was useless for water ingress. Two layers of butyl tape plus an extra layer around the corners dealt with the water perfectly.
Cutting the holes open was also way worse than the forward window. Fucking bent a blade and then the wall just warped and wrinkled so much along the edges. Fortunately its hidden behind the window clamp, so with a bit of hammering to straighten it out and clamping, its hidden. But still stupid. Second photo shows how **** it was. I went around again with a fresh blade and straightened everything out.

First big trip in the van went spectacularly. Though I learned a bit of fun about fuel efficiency. Did over 1,000 miles over the long weekend.

On the way out.
11.2 mpg at 78mph. That lasted an hour
14.9 mpg at 71mph.
16.0 mpg at 55mph through the mountains

Coming home, I had 6 hours of consistent headwind of 20 mph .
11.0 mpg at 71mph.

Walls arrive soon.

Leak developed on the maxxair fan. Ford installed. I assume it was the 1,000 miles of driving that put some cracks into the thin sealant. I ended up scraping some off and putting an entire bead around the full thing.

Mocked up the bed framing with some wood. It works perfectly. Ignore the plywood that I measured twice, cut once, used the wrong measurement.

Tested with a twin xl mattress. I'll be ordering a Full Size mattress to fit here perfectly. I'm so psyched
