Build Date and Shipping Date GONE

Almost a month ago i had a build date of December 6th which then was delayed (Yet again) to January 12th, ship date of February 5th. I called Ford today because I STILL can't pull up my window sticker. They told me it says it's "In Process" and no longer has a build or ship date and is delayed once again. They opened up a "Claim" for me and said that the claim will be sent to the sales manager who will now be able to get more in depth info as to what the problem is. They said he can now speak to "higher ups" to get detailed info. Has anybody heard of this. Im the one who ordered in May and tried to cancel it but they wouldn't let me because we already had a VIN number.

Can the dealer request a Status Report for the VIN and get something in writing? There was another kind of report referred to on another thread, but I can't find it right now.

If the dealer/sales rep. really wanted to dig deeper, couldn't they get more information, or is it an important threshold that a build date be generated? Sorry if you have given us this info. before. Too many threads to follow!
Dealer should have had a STATUS REPORT once they got a VIN on the Transit. I have a feeling this dealer does not have the allocation to get this van. They could have went to their district sales rep as well as to FORD for a reason why this TRANSIT WAGON has been held up. I tried to get a inquiry on this VIN after she sent it to me. At the time, it was thought that the MFT was the holdup. But now we have Transits with MFT being DELIVERED so why not this one?

Again Sweetb728 needs to keep after FORD and look at the DEALER STATUS REPORT at Larry Miller Ford. He seems to have other dealerships and if allocation was the case, they could have transferred the order to the other dealership and then have the TRANSIT delivered to her ordering dealer.

Per CrewVanMan's post just now, can you go to your dealer and demand a Status Report in writing?

These TRANSIT WAGONS were built for the Provo, UT area in December:

FKA36774 Built 12/4 350 MR
FKA37033 Built 12/9 350 MR
FKA43981 Built 12/16 350 MR

Under normal production, Sweetb728s TRANSIT WAGON would fall in this time frame between 12/4 to 12/9. Curious WHAT IS HOLDING THIS TRANSIT UP?????

camarina just got his TRANSIT WAGON and his VIN is FKA37237 with the MFT in it.

I also ordered May 10th and also have Jan 12 for new Build date, I have a sticker though...
I will e mail my sales man now and request that Status report.

This is the paper I got when I questioned it in December. Is this the dealer status report?
I emailed the sales manager with my claim number and also told him I want a copy of the dealer status report as of today.

How do I find out if this is an allocation issue? I was told when I ordered it that I had one of their allocations. I know they currently have 2 transits on their lot. If they lied about the allocation to get our sale how do I prove that and what can be done about it?

That is a Vehicle History, the other report I was thinking of. [Edit Tuesday morning -- the full name is probably best described as (see the Header on the report): "Track a Vehicle -- Full History"]

Sorry I can't answer you exactly, but you could ask for a current version of each type of report IMO.

That is the comprehensive report on a specific VIN. Really the best way to see how your vehicle is progressing.

The STATUS REPORT is a DAILY REPORT. See column 4 on the STATUS DATES. Looks like they ran it about once a week.

The delay has to be something related to a MATERIAL HOLD, which should be showing up on the STATUS REPORT.

Confusing part is in COLUMN 5....Start Date. Near the bottom and coming up through the column, it shows DEC 29, then JAN 02 as start dates when the KANSAS CITY PLANT IS CLOSED????
Then it goes from JAN 05 which is the first day of start up after the holidays and goes immediately to FEB 04

Please let us know how it goes, getting the Status Report from your dealer. If you get any guff, it would be good to know, so that others can avoid the dealer.

PS -- The current "Track a Vehicle -- Full History" report is also important to get -- an updated version of what you posted yesterday.
PS2 -- The Status Report should also show other vehicles which the dealer has ordered, I believe, so indirectly it may shed some light on the "allocation" issue.]

I had my friend in Dearborn check on Sweetb728 Transit....it has been scheduled for build on 1/19/2015. Another friend of mine who ordered the T-350 HR Ext with Builders Prep package is scheduled for 1/16/2015

Sweetb728 try to print the window sticker on Friday, Jan 9 or Monday, Jan 12

PeterR may need to see if the current TRANSIT owners who are getting their MFT radios have the CD. My contact states the vendor shipped the wrong radios and some may have been installed.

I put a heads up on that MyFord Touch thread, and would vote for continuing the conversation there, as this new problem may affect many new owners currently receiving MFT without the CD player.

I e- mailed my dealer with 2 questions.... one was asking him to e-mail me my status report, the other asking about the up lift rebate from ford ($1500.00) I am transferring my adrian steel tool boxes and did not want to have my van sit around waiting for the up lift... Then I saw a poster saying the dealer did his uplift so I wanted to know if I could use the 1500 uplift bonus and have them the dealer get my stuff...making sure I could still get the max cash rebate offered during my PAINFUL waiting period. in other words, I will take the 1500 cash versus the up lift rebate.... Sounds like I can have both.... Anyway, I already bought my own partition (Cost $651). He told me.... Yes they can do the uplift and to bring in my receipt. So I am going to ad a few more small boxes along with a new windshield rack. BTW, He said nothing about the Status report I asked for. Who does that???? Pretty sure that would be DOING YOUR JOB!!!! (this was the 2nd e mail about the uplift question he never even responded to but I gave him a pass because of the Holidays) Like a status report is TOP SECRET or something!!!
