I just got my ford transit wagon today Saturday Jan 9th
Someone told me at ford assembly plant ( I work there building transits)
That the rear seats they fold down and then you also can move them out.
But this feature is optional. Some van don't have them.

The back seats do not fold, but that would actually be a really nice option if one didn't feel like going through the work of lifting heavy seats out of the van itself.
Kansastransit, I have a feeling that the person you were talking to is probably thinking about the long wheelbase 7 passenger Transit CONNECT. The seats in the Transit CONNECT long wheelbase slide forwards and backwards, fold flat, and come out if you want to go through the work of taking them out I believe.
