I know velit is the new heater on the block but every thread so far has seemed great. I haven't seen a thread that has been updated in a bit. As temps start to drop down again, does anyone have complaints with their unit before I purchase one?
We used the Velit last winter at low altitudes. Since July 2, we have used it every morning—two months at 10-11,500 feet in Colorado, now at 4-8,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada. I plan to get the new thermostat when I get home the end of November.
Every once in a while, I stick my finger up the exhaust pipe and smile when I see it comes out clean.
They suggest some maintenance in ten years. Don’t even consider Webasto.
