This is number 3 of the 2020 Transit AWD models delivered at Matt Ford. Like the first one, it is a Magnetic Metallic exterior.

What is different from the first one is this one has the Ebony Leather seating option which has the 10 way power/heated seats for BOTH the driver and passenger. It has the Privacy Glass in the Sliding Side Door as well as the Rear Double Doors.

Inside you can see the full length vinyl flooring and the Load Area Protection package which does make a difference in the noise level even though there is NO insulation material between the panels and the metal interior wall. Near the rear doors you can see the D-Pillar Assist Handles that can come in handy when trying to enter the van from either side of the van.

Out the back, you can see the Trailer Tow package as well as the Reverse Sensing System that tell you with the beeps how close you are to objects behind the van. Walking round the van, you can see the special 6 lug wheels that are a part of the AWD system.

As you know by now, when you order the Fog Lamps, you get the Chrome grille but NOT the Chrome trim around the headlamps. You only get the Chrome headlamp trim by ordering the Exterior Upgrade package.

More interior pictures showing the instrument cluster which is ALL NEW for the 2020 Transit. On the turn signal you see the Lane Keeping Alert button that activates that feature through the dash display as well as the vibration on the steering wheel if you get out of the traveling lane without making a signal. Cruise Control and Bluetooth activation can be done through the buttons on the steering wheel so you can have hands-free communication through your cellphone. By ordering the Leather seating package, you get the Leather wrapped steering wheel. You also get this wheel when ordering the Adaptive Cruise Control. You also have a button for selection of the AWD control features which include settings for 5 drive modes depending on your driving conditions.

Along with ordering the HD Trailer tow package, this one has the Trailer Brake Controller for use when towing a trailer that has the electric braking system.

On the center of the dash, you have 2 new control features for the 2020 Transit. By ordering the 10 way power/heated seats, you get a 3 level heat control for BOTH seats rather than the previous one ON/OFF button for heat. Above the seat heating indicators, you have the air distribution control system that now lets you distribute the air flow from ALL 3 areas at the same time. You can send the air flow to the front window, out the front vents, and onto the floor area at the same time. Before this year, you could only send the air flow to 2 areas at the same time.

Thank you for the pictures.
Looks like adding swivels to those seats will require major surgery on the plastic side panel.
Has the size of this panel increased over last model year?

How do the seats feel compared to the 2019s? Is there any more padding or is it bascially just a outside material change?

If that is the privacy glass, side and rear, it doesn't look much darker than standard tint.

Have you tried selecting all three ? I had a similar button arrangement in a rental car but when I clicked on the defroster button it turned off the dash vents.

Window sticker online view. About 20 days after the vehicle is sold, this regular viewing is deleted and can only be captured via the Ford dealer network.

After looking at this window sticker, this Magnetic Metallic van did not have the Privacy Glass on the side and rear windows. In explaining the differences in the first delivered Magnetic Metallic to this one with the Leather seating, I forgot mention this one did not have the Privacy Glass that the other van had on it.

Awesome info! Looks like the park assist button is there, did you notice where the sensors are located? Thoughts if a side ladder would block the sensors?

It doesn't have park assist, maybe you are seeing the reverse sense "off" button to the left of the mode button.

If you scroll all the way down there is a short video going up and down through the gears also, here

Since you probably have the only NEW not on a vehicle Black grille, can you show the tabs that go around the perimeter of the grille that hold it to the front header panel? Now that you have that first video out of the way, the next one can be making the installation of that Black grille so you can help all of the upcoming Transit owners change out that Chrome grille for the Black or Honeycomb one.

I know! It looks like you might be able to cut out the filler grill/grate in that area and get the step back. I use mine to scrap ice off the windshield.
