AW has a build form that gives a lot of pricing info on different things you can add to your kit/build. Here is the link: Transit Installation Interior Configuration form. The pricing on the Smart Floor installation plus some options for the floors tracks and seating are in there. It would add a lot of $ to my build, but I like the modularity/flexibility of it and need the seating for several kids.

I have the Smart Floor in my Transit with AdWag kit. DOT-approved seating was a must. Love the flexibility of being able to move, remove and relocate the two captains chairs. Also love having L-track in the floor for securing gear.

I've got both. Search my posts because don't remember exact details, but it was around $10-11k installed, including two seats.

The fit is pretty tight and I had to file some AdWag panels down to get them to fit in. The track is probably over to the left a little too far, but I wanted more room by the doors so it's just a compromise.

All in all, we're pretty happy with it.

Hey, thanks all for helpful information on Adventure Wagon. I plan on moving forward with an AW kit this year. Super pumped as it seems many are happy with it. Has anyone got the Smart Floor system for track along the floor for clicking in seats? Its not made by AW but they recommend and also can install that system.

Similar experience with SION, mine was around 10k installed with two seats with 9 tracks, I went with a mobility upfitter. I would have really liked to get the ADWAG Kit but Canadian distributor has terrible communication and AW would not let me buy direct from them.

Love the versatility.

Some additional details for those interested in this kit and power sliding doors:
Unfortunately our system is still not compatible with the power sliding door.

The mechanism itself needs to be worked around right behind the slider, but the tougher part is the wiring for the sliding door is in the way of the track of the kit near the rear doors. The only way to fix this is to lengthen a number of factory wires which can cause warranty issues unfortunately.

It can be done for sure but it is relatively complicated unfortunately and we've never taken it on here so we can't say for sure the steps and processes.

For anyone thinking of the MOAB bed (original N=S).
From the Adventure Wagon website today (04/28/2022):
  • Total length of assembled bed is 77”; long at the bed center, and 67” wide (width varies depending on height at which it placed). Each of the smaller panels is 23” x 67” and the larger rear panel is 31” deep.
Therefore, using the 31" panel at the rear (adjacent to the rear doors) and one of the 23" small panels, you could use it similar to the MOAB Traverse and have a 54" wide bed sleeping E-W. Still constrained by the interior width of the van but could get a few extra inches (and have to fill the gap) by using their interior "bump out" panels.

Yes; we have two sizes of 4" HD foam and with the rear panels being pocketed someone up to 6' could sleep E-W and then have 2' of extra floor space.

Love that MOAB bed- super solid piece of engineering. Next best is the 1Up bike rack.

This was very helpful. I have decided to go the same configuration you did. Original N-S MOAB with the Traverse bump out panels to give more flexibility. Knowing that I may need some foam spacers as well.

Still waiting on my 2022 order. Really need it to go through. Still optimistic of that happening.

Yup, that's the plans. Received the trim rings last week. They're super slick and BIG. Excited for that side to side space.

What did you do for the floor? Is it custom? Was the seat rail placement custom?

What did you do for the floor? Looks nice. Are the seat rails custom or standard crew rails?
