Just curious- do they build passenger vans in AWD? Most of the ones I’ve seen are RWD.

I know we have driven this thread off the road and into the weeds, but it doesn't matter since the original subject Van has been sold.

AWD is available in all roof heights. That website always seems to start out a medium roof RWD, and then that popup confirms your choice as selected. You just have to goto ford website and play around with the "Build your transit" page and try the various options.

First you use the "MODEL" tab to pick your combination of roof height, length and GVWR and single or dual rear wheels. Only certain combinations are allowed. Then hit the "Start Your Build" and have fun.

CrewVanMan I’m bummed I was late to the party on that wagon too. Now I watch your activity like a hawk. Learning a lot doing so too.

I’m an airline pilot and my ride from Chicago Hyatt to the airport last week was a 2019 X9X. The driver had been driving it for years and really preferred it to the other vehicles they have. With 220k Chicago miles it was still pretty tight and quiet. Now I’m convinced that getting one will be worth the wait!
