2023 Climate control unresponsive

Picked up our new XLT Passenger Van with 12" Sync 4 two weeks ago. It was very cold the first few days and didn't realize the climate control only put out super hot air regardless of temperature setting. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced the mixer door (after a week delay because Ford originally sent the wrong part). I picked up the van, selected 68 degrees and.... The air temp was fixed. Unfortunately, 15 minutes later I realized the seat heaters weren't on and tried to push the button, but no joy. The climate section of screen shows you select a change, but then reverts back and nothing happens. Climate control is completely unresponsive.

My wife was not impressed when picking up 10 kids at school and the van fogged up so bad she had to stop twice to clear the windshield. She was already not happy with lack of physical controls and this only confirmed her distrust of the new system.

A little googling showed Ford has a climate control reset procedure by holding power and defrost buttons for 10 seconds, but this doesn't work for the new touch screen! I unhooked the negative battery terminal for 5 mins, but climate control is still unresponsive.

Recall says it affects 2022 - Sept 2023, but mine was built in October. Even if it was, shouldn't the dealer have updated before delivery?
This problem has been discussed a lot lately on the forum, Maybe search out some of those forum threads and see what other people are saying.
Everybody points to the recall first.
Have had recall dine on my Cargo 2022, hoping it work fix the climate control. It did not, will try to replace 7.5amp fuse for climate control.🤞🤞
Well shoot. Dealer called this morning to report the climate control module is not communicating with the rest of the system and needs replaced. Of course the part is back ordered. Could be weeks. Could be months. They didn't inspire confidence I'd have the van back anytime soon. I'm trying to get a replacement vehicle from them, but haven't heard back from the sales team because the service manager said that's not their job 😵‍💫
Mine must be doing the same. I had the recall done and it is still the same. No way am i leaving my van to wait for a part to come in ever.

My wife won't drive it because of the cold weather and fogging issues. She picked up 10 kids from school causing the van to fog up so bad she had to stop twice to clear the windshield. If it was summer, no problem, we would keep driving it.
The saga continues.

Dealer called and said my van was fixed. They had discovered a loose connection with the climate control module (I'm assuming from when they replaced the mixing blower door) that was causing the unresponsive screen. The new climate control module is still not in, but they assumed the issue was fixed because the screen was working again.
I wanted assurance my original problem was fixed, and the heat could be controlled properly. The service guy said he wasn't sure because they only verified the screen was working. I told him to check before I make the 30 minute drive to the dealership. He calls back 5 minutes later and admits the temp controls still don't work. Only full heat. They will need a new climate control module to fix, but still don't know when one will be available. Wife and I decide that we might as well pick it up now that we can at least use the defrost function allowing a clear windshield to see in the cold.
On the trip home, I find that no air is coming out the floor vent. I tried both auto and manual, but makes no difference. At this point, I'm not confident a new climate control module will even fix things. So far, we've waited 3 weeks for a solution. Our plan is to wait for a new climate control module, and if nothing changes, will have to decide if going the lemon law route.

I have been working through this issue on my 2022 and have recently been looking into the lemon law. It is so unfortunate to wait 10+ mo. and now dealing with this. We also cannot drive due to safety and defrosting unreliability. Had my upfitting planned for this spring and have to put that on hold. I hope to hear some solutions and best to you.

Well this is not great news for me 😩

I apologize If I was discouraging. The 10 mo. reference was referring to my build time. We're still in the early phase of figuring this issue out. Trying to stay hopeful, but also planning for next steps.
UPDATE

New climate control module was installed, but the hot air issue is unresolved. Since they fixed the unresponsive climate control by either 1. reconnecting a loose harness or 2. replacing the harness, who knows which was really required, I will be continuing to post in the thread:

Factory Climate Control Not Regulating Temperature Correctly (Always Hot)

Update from my end: Ford gave me a technical service bulletin (reviewed today) SSM 51370 for my vehicle stating “they are aware of the issue and working on a solution” proposed solution, second quarter (April). Hopefully sooner.

Did your '22 ever work right? How are you just now finding the problem?

Long story on the 2022's. Didn't receive mine until 9/2022 and first identified the issue after receiving the 10/2022 recall notice. The issue was "addressed" then with no solution and from my understanding, Ford didn't formally acknowledge the problem (post recall "fix") with my vehicle until 2/17/23. Staying hopeful. It's a great van, rips in the snow, and solid otherwise.

Brandon, if you would, please message me!! We are in metro detroit and have eerily similar stories. I can share what happened with our rental situation!!
Are all of these problems occurring in 12 inch sync 4 screens? What about 2022s with snuck 3 and knobs?
