Hello friends!

We just purchased a 2022 Ford Transit 350 Ecoboost DRW has sync 4 and large screen, but has no Cruise Control!

Would love to add factory cruise control!

We just took delivery today and I surprised how well it drives!! It is actually fun to drive despite its size. The only flaw I see with it is a lack of factory cruise control!

Would I be able to pay a Ford Service department to add to my vehicle if I purchase a new steering wheel?

Any idea if it will work?

Is anyone on here that has done it successfully without disabling other functions?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Other people on this forum have gotten it to work by changing the steering wheel, Both on the early model transit's and on the newest models. I remember reading past forum threads about it.

I saw the post about changing the steering wheel and reprogramming. Is that something a Ford deer can do?

It sounded like the post starter changed the wheel and the Ford dealerr couldn't make the software changes for it to work...

I dont know, The dealer is probably not going to do anything beyond repair what you all ready have. I am pretty sure this will be entirely do it yourself if you want it. I have read of people doing it successfully on this forum.

I think a lot of people have done it, a few people have had problems and have written asking for help. I don’t think that many dealerships have the ability or will spend the time to try to figure it out. I would get a used steering wheel rather than trying to add the switches to your current wheel.
