I myself am considering gasoline-powered heater, and until recently was not aware of the problems associated with the larger pickup tube. I have a related question: considering that I will install the smaller diameter Espar pickup, is there any benefit to ordering the factory pickup port? Are there any reusable parts that would make the installation of the aftermarket pickup easier?

Espar has 300 and 600 mm standpipe sizes. Which is the correct size for the 31 gallon tank?
