VERY impressive. I hope I don’t go broke from making too many mistakes with the 8020! Still planning our layout and researching cheapest sources. I really like your wheel well covers. Where did you find them and how do they attach? Really enjoying your project!
Another forum member recommended using furring strips to mockup 8020 designs. They are 1.5 x 1.5, the same dimensions as 15 series. When I ordered my TSLOTS from a local company I had them cut many of the pieces to exact dimensions, probably about half the build was done that way. It was really nice to have vertical parts that were the exact same height and it squared up really well. Had I not done the furring strips I definitely would have made more work for myself and wasted some material. Don't be too worried though, this stuff is great to work with, it's like Legos for adults :)

I got some cut to size too, it does help a lot and saves a lot of time!

Today I added some hanging hooks and it also has a small shelf.

The hooks open and close so when you're not using them they retract.

I also added another set in the back but this one doesn't have a small storage shelf.
Do you have a link to those hooks, I like them.

Finally tested my water system today. I wanted to wait till the freezing weather was gone.

I was surprised how good the water pressure is!

I only had one fitting that was leaking and I couldn't fix it! So I made a trip to Home Depot and found a different fitting and it worked great! See below.

No leaks with the new fitting!

I set up my drains from the water tank and the gray tank to one line so I only had to make one hole, works great!

Hot water heater worked great!

Put everything back together, I'll check again tomorrow for any slow leaks!

I took a few screen shots while I was running the water heater. It was overcast out.
Can anyone give me the Solar Power for Dummies explanation of what I might need to know?

With ski season almost over, it's time to get back to working on the van!
It was nice to use the van for ski season to see if there were things I needed to change.
I knew under the sink was going to need to be rearranged, so I started working on that today.

The 8020 was in the way of the heater ductwork, so I'm going to remove it and mount the 8020 to the floor.
20210501_190842.jpg

The heat ductwork will fit better without the 8020!

I'll also work on building a better storage area under the sink.

Went to Costco today and they had some nice seat covers in stock. They were about $30 for one seat, so I bought one to make sure i liked them.
I think I might go back and get another one, they're really nice and comfortable.

They don't cover the sides but they do fit well.

You can call your local Costco and give the the item number to see if they carry them.

Your timing is perfect. I was just thinking about seat covers today. Thank you.

Got the same one's in mine. Very nice and comfortable as mentioned. However, the side folds under your butt as you get into the van since there's no sides to the covers. Not a big issue but a minor annoyance.

Yeah those look like fancy seat blankets not covers. Actual covers that fit the seat completely cost a lot more and take 2 months to get your hands on. Great looking in that one photo but they look like something that doesn't last too long

I posted a few graphs of the Bosch power consumption here:

You're seeing the same info in a momentary thing. I'm using the same water heater and the same shunt; but I also have the computer with data-collection to show it over time. That thread should give detail on what you're seeing. (y)

I was surprised they didn't cover the sides too? I'm going to use them for a week or two and see how I like them. For the price they're not bad!! I just want to protect the seats from wear and tear so I'm not sure they'll do that on the edges?

Maybe it's for side airbags on the seats, so they can deploy even with a cover on them???

I spent most of the morning trying to find the wire from my fresh water tank gauge. I had a few wires that lost their name tag. Just when I was about to cut a hole in the cabinet I decided to take a break. When I returned I found the wire and it was labeled too. Nothings ever easy for me!
I really like the water gauge and it work great.
20210506_134403.jpg

I plan to run a 110 outlet below the water gauge.
20210506_135236.jpg

The wiring was easy, you can see the float sensor at the top of the tank.
