Worked late today but got this message from my Ford contact:

Finally!........you now have your 2017 Ford Transit Order Guide.

To get a copy of this Order Guide, I need the following information sent to me via PM.

If you get a message that the mail box is full, wait until the next day and inquire again. I have about 24 open slots so I will clear it out as I send out the Order Guide to each person.

Ryan Matt at Matt Ford is looking to order at least 4 2017 Transits next week. If you get your order together with the option codes and descriptions, you might send it to him for a quote. He can save you money and time if you order it from him and pick it up at his dealership in Buckner, MO which is 24 miles from the plant. You can still order your Transit from him and have it redirected to your local dealer of choice, but this will not speed up the delivery time which has been at least 8 to 10 weeks after the Transit is built.

NEW Styled Aluminum Wheels
NEW Wheel Arch Moldings
NEW Rear Bumper without step on medium & high roof models
NEW Heated Driver & Passenger seats for all 10 way seating options

Changed, Higher Capacity Upfitter Switches

Items that were once options now standard equipment
Engine Block heater standard on all 3.2L diesel engines
Cargo Area LED Compartment Lighting
Rear Powerpoint now standard on van model

Just glanced through and see that “Side Wind Stabilization” will be standard. Wish I would have known this before placing my order yesterday!

Hoping that we'll be able to order the "Wheel Arch Moldings" as a part and install them.

APDX......did you get the order guide from CrewVanMan? He sent it to me, but I can't open the file and was just wondering if you knew what the file format was and what you used to view it?

It's a PDF. Change the file extension to .pdf and it will open in Adobe Reader or Acrobat or other pdf reader / editor.

Manual windows gone, but manual locks and mirrors still there. Seems odd.

Could you email me a copy of it in .pdf form? When I got it there was NO file extension of any kind. When I clicked on file properties it came up only as a binary file. I am using a chromebook, but it also would not open on my wife's Windows 10 P.C. The file downloaded, but would not open with any of the ordinary apps (such as acrobat, word, etc).

That option is called "console delete". In a Ford fleet brochure, it shows as "fleet exclusive". I talked to a dealer about it, he called his Ford rep, who told him that it was indeed fleet exclusive, but they might find a way to get it for a retail customer. Someone posted a picture of a British Transit console, which did not have that cup holder/bin on the console. There's speculation that that might be what the console delete option looks like. I guess we'll find out some day.

If you are printing the 2017 Ford Transit Order Guide, all of the pages are in BLACK EXCEPT page 13 which uses BLUE and RED colors to show the different window options.
You can print the complete guide in COLOR or do it in BLACK and then just reprint print PAGE 13 in COLOR.
