Current Ford incentive for the 2017 Transit van is $1500 until January 3rd, 2017.
Any idea what incentives and rebates will be after 11/30? 1/3? Im guessing that they keep that a secret, but the current Black Friday incentives are pretty good but they must increase with the end of the year approaching.

From my experience the rebates are only in effect when picking up your new Transit, not at the time of ordering. However I believe that some have had it written in the contract (rebate) at time of ordering from dealer. So just make sure you know what your getting into with rebates and have the salesman/dealer write it in the contract i.e. at time of ordering or when picked up. My 2 cents.

Exactly what I said and have been told my dealerships. I'm not even sure there is a place to write in any incentives or rebates when ordering. It totally depends upon when you pick the van up and what Ford is offering right then.

Which is why I listed my "concern" as what if because of Ford's foulup I end up taking delivery when the incentives are non existent or less than originally? (I really think they might be more because it will be closer to their build year now... April I think is that "cut off" ? So January they want to close out what's on the lots.

MY question was, if I ordered it, do I receive the incentive? I mean, the incentive is to clear the stock out... however, technically when it's delivered to the dealer it IS "on the lot" D....

Not sure but the $1000 handicap rebate might be good for 2 years.

DrJean,

According to Ford mobility program guidelines, claim must be submitted within 12 months of original date of sale of vehicle.

:s:s:s I don't understand the business plan behind something like this.

My dealer called today to advise that my 2017 Transit is ready to be picked up tomorrow. He said that if I owned a non-FORD automobile (which I do, Toyo Cmry) Ford will give me another $1000 rebate. I was given a different rebate discounted off the price when we signed the agreement to buy it in September.

I'm not complaining, but what is Ford's thinking?

Hi BabyBuffy - Believe my order options are very similar to yours T150 MR LWB and same color. Bet you like and use the Van very much

Curios about the "another $1000 rebate" for non-FORD . Did you get that? What was your total rebate?
