2016 Transit Wagon with Leather Interior

Have seen leather seats listed on quite few Transit Wagon Window Stickers.

Found 2 leather seat XLT Wagons, that are further than I want to travel for, online last night.

May call, confirm & inquire about transporting. Sounds like a huge hassle.

Any tips about remote vehicle purchasing?

Wonder if it being a early production VIN there was a period when the leather interior was still available; maybe a holdover interior from 2015 production. Ordered by Hagerstown Ford in Hagerstown,MD showing as a regular stock order.

Checking with my Ford contacts. If you order a low or medium roof wagon with regular wheelbase, you get the available option for the leather interior.

We ordered the 150, low roof, regular wheel base, 8 passenger with 10 way leather front seats. We are assuming that all the seats will be leather. You only get one choice of color however.

Aussiemom- unless things have changed leather is for the front seats only. Cloth for the rest of the passenger seats. Notice how they say "Leather, 10 way power driver and front passenger seats". You may want to give the dealer a call to confirm.

That's an interesting Q. From the many photos I've seen my impression was that with leather seat option all seats matched. That's certainly the way it was on E-Series. But the written descriptions are not clear either way.

However window stickers show leather 10 way power seats are a $1440 option & the 10 passenger seating option is an additional $625.

Should be able to buy quite a bit of leather for over $2000.

One of the major reasons to purchase the 96J package, makes them leather seats a lot cheaper. Haven't seen any rear passenger seat pictures made of leather, from the factory, on the Transit not even on the Ford site.

My 2015 Wagon has leather front seats and cloth on the two bench seats. I don't think leather all-around was available at all.

My stock Club Wagon has leather seats all-around.

Aussiemom- I looked at all of the photo's in the Gallery. Looking at the attachment photo you posted I'd have to agree with you the material sure looks the same. Other side of the house it's only suppose to be in pewter color and that isn't pewter in the photo. The only reason I brought it up it was that I remember another member discussing it but that was a long while back. I truly hope you get the leather seats in the back but I think it's another "Ford gotcha moment". CVM will jump in and let us know. I looked at the site and also found stuff on the site that's not in the 2016 Buyers Guide. So who knows.....could be another change that no one is aware of.
